The Orchid Show 2018

Another Silly Video by Susan Kirby. The 2018 Orchid Show in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory at the New York Botanical Garden featured installations created by Daniel Ost showing thousands of representatives of orchids and other flowers from the botanical garden's permanent collections. The show ran from March 3 to April 22, 2018. This video was filmed April 17 over a four-hour visit. Some of the orchids are identified when they were clearly labeled in the show. Others are shown in the context of the installations. The music is by Gabriel Fauré, Erik Satie and Léo Delibes, obtained from MusOpen.org, a royalty-free music source, and the TH-cam Audio Library.
My hope is that viewers will join me as I walk through the exhibition, seeing the wealth of color and beauty that surrounds me. Part of the Contemplate This! series, which offers a video with beautiful nature set to soothing music.
