Ted, I hear ya. It is a different world out here than back there. I have friends in VA hunting public and they work hard for every sighting also. Same strategies, just less payoff!
That's two awesome looking bucks!!! For some reason I really liked that big ol 7 pointer. You guys are one heck of a team. Missouri has some pretty good public land bucks like that too.
Paul, you are correct. MO does have some good public land. We need to get more of our guys hunting those places. However, I don't think that we can film on MO public land for some reason.
FYI: Not sure on the exact name of that artery, but NOT the Femoral Artery. In a human it would be the abdominal aorta, maybe the dorsal aortic artery. It would have been a hind-leg shot to have hit the femoral.
This reminds me a lot of the hunting we have to do here in PA on public land. We have a high density of hunters but also with every year of the antlers restrictions we are getting bigger and more matures bucks. We are putting in more work this year then ever. Hoping for a big payoff. Congrats on the two beautiful bucks.
Hey I'm still big fan of you guys that's just just been my past experiences on the public .That's all I have to hunt is public so that's just what has worked for me good luck in 2017 !
Is it me there shot placement is off I seen this in more than one video, dont get me wrong I like there videos but wish they would slow down and not worry about there videos as much as a clean hit
Good bucks are shot all over public land every year. A lot of these guys learned their public land ideas from Infalt including yours truly. I live in an extremely pressured state and have seen more big bucks on public land here than Ohio! It takes timing, it takes knowing wind, it takes going to extremes others wont. When youre out hunting your best stands Oct 1 guys have still not stopped scouting. I used to make excuses, took me 20 years to figure it out. You cant treat public land like private land. You have no control over others access, you have no control to manipulate land. What do you do? You find the beds and you go for broke.
I like your show but don't understand why you want to tell everyone where and how your getting it done before you know it every one be in there trying it. Best thing when hunting the public is don't tell know one anything it's ever man for self why show people spots are harder and harder to find. Best way to be successful year after year is don't tell know one nothing when you find a piece of ground that has some big ones on it.
Bradley, our number one goal is to help people be more successful not to kill more deer ourselves. Yes, some people will move in on some spots, but that is part of the deal. We will adjust.
You would be lucky to see any bucks on public land in NC. Great hunt thanks for sharing.

There are bucks, you just gotta consider how those bucks react to hunting pressure. What game lands are you hunting? im in the Raleigh area myself

There’s a conservation area in northwest mo I’m not gonna say the name but it has monster deer. All the bucks I’ve seen are perfect typicals as well

Rudie, Good luck. All that work will pay off.
Zack is more excited when someone else shoots a deer than when HE does!
Garrett, Those guys are all in it together. They work hard and share information each day.
Gotta love it!!
That second buck is the definition of a lucky shot.

Why do you show a soybean, not in soil, as an advertisement for the genisis5, that is not in soil contact... not covered.. not a good ad. Jmo
