God this is so tense...Katy has this weird condescending energy right out of the gate that causes the Johns to go on the defensive immediately... you can tell they're guarded and saracstic and not having fun. And then she grabs John's face out of nowhere.
Oh man, I never noticed that she grabs Flansburgh's face for a second. I would have freaked out. These 12 minutes of acute discomfort and growing Linnell sass levels have never looked clearer!
I can see why they’re so sarcastic in these interviews. All these early interviewers ask the same “why so quirky der?” questions and I love how visibly annoyed they are.
