Holy shit what a game 2. Carriers and tempest vs vickings and ghosts. A litteral hundred turrets. Quintuple nuke nexus snipes. Mined out map. And a fight over the last available ressource spot with an unforgettable finish. GG most entertaining match ive seen in a while.

I mean - Maru really has nothing to prove anymore. He is a glorious living legend, still on the very top and highly respected, still a championship contender but with no "I have at least to achieve that one victory"-dream left. If he wins, it's great, but if not, it's not that big of a deal. But Parting? He's a great player putting in all the effort to come back to the top level in order to finally take the big win he never got. He lost vs. Life of all in his last GSL finals. And now he didn't make it again this year, despite showing great skill. Military service comes closer and he won't have much time anymore to reach his goals.
Funny how much they discussed how the nukes before were "worth it" while coming up with twisting numbers etc, and then at the end, Maru shows them what an efficient nuke is!

Why didn’t Maru nuke from both ends or attack templates from both ends? Especially the game vs Classic last year? Maru is skilled enough to multitask nuke/attack many places at once.
You need to keep the Sky Terran units to hold the Skytoss at bay. Maru cant commit too much into Bio units or Parting Skytoss would just steamroll over his bases.
I love it when I see parting crying. lol. Even though Maru killed himself in game 2, he is not mad coz he knows he can beat parting easy. You can tell by Parting's expression after seeing that. He was not least bit happy about that winning coz he knew he was getting owned. lol
Has observer over a mine that already hit phoenix once, sends same 4 phoenix to that mine - still mine kills before he lifts it. Those mistakes just add up....
During the 3rd game, weird audio comes on and Artosis says "fucking" at 1:07:05. I know he does during his streams but during GSL is out of 'GSL caster' character for him. I love it!
I think he was talking about when playing online or with friends that its just a stupid marth player, not every marth player. The context of the statement seems to hint at an anecdotal experience he's drawing from
@@tiendoan6417 I don't know why maru spent resources on nuke and ghosts. I would get BCs instead to yomato cannons the carriers. As maru is the top terran in the world I guess ghosts can work.
@@mikechan2942 Parting was already winning by a lot so maybe it was too late and too risky to attempt such transition. Even if Maru managed to get BCs Parting had a dozen tempests that could slaughter a handful of BCs.
Infested terran will blow up upon any A-move, even on bare ground; you have to be careful when hotkeying them with your units for this reason. A-moving your infested terran with your hydras is a bad idea.
