No, you can still use all of the modes (Sport, Track and Road) RACE means that there is no torque restriction in the Sport mode and some other small things.

We've got 5 Tuono's, latest is a 2014 V4 APRC ABS in white as my latest Track Bike - All 4 Gens have vids on my channel.
Nice bike. I also have a 2013 w/ race ecu. Do you know if that means these bikes are stuck on "race mode" all the time now?

Your bike sounds fantastic! Is that the stock exhaust?
Yes, it is stock. I had the Race ECU on that bike, so the exhaust valve was always open.
