Superb analysis! Having grown up in Assam in the 90s, saw the insurgency first hand. Amazing turnaround now, and Nitin's coverage is top-notch as always.
Hello Sir, kindly bring the book in print..It is a great treasure of history. In those days the people could understood the activities happening there through newspapers only. But everyone will definitely love to have more details from a person like you..so please bring the book in print again..
this person nitin gokhle sir is epitome of famous saying why integrity has limited reach. When idiots like arnab has larger audience but this man what a content he has still he gets very less views still he abides by his ethics and morals. Salute to you nithin sir.
Why the hell people watch those dumb anchors on tv, they have only one job to make people fight with each other. This analysis is truly amazing , thanks Nitin
Don't forget to mention those atrocities committed by the armed forces on civilians with gruesome torture, rape, humiliation and extra judicial killings.
Absolutely fabulous video! Just shows the might of the Indian state, with whatever it's faults, has crushed insurgencies in Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Punjab (special credit to the then PM Indira Gandhi). This government deserves massive credit for the decades long peace process in Bodoland, Assam, other North East states too!
@@sawedoffshotgun8462 Yeah, there is unrest in Manipur now. So that negates all the peace and development works in the last decade or so in North East?
@@mihirpatkie1793 I am not talking about the ethnic violence in Manipur, I'm talking about the militancy. These suspension of operations agreements can be overdue anytime. Do you know how many insurgent groups are operating? Nearly 30 belong to the Kuki tribe alone. Rest of the groups are still active.
Sir try bringing the book back in any form... Would be really helpful sir... At least an 1 hour discussion of your book in the "Books Corner" would give us an idea of your 1st "baby".
Not only militent but to common people thinks like militent they don't have any respect towards indian constitution, indian flag and other machinery of govt
