Jill, your remark at the beginning of this video, that you wrote a book on beaded ropes caused me to put two and two together-duh! Here I'm watching and enjoying your videos very much, and there on my book shelf is your book which I also enjoyed, and never put the two together.
I very much appreciate your teaching style. You are both clear, concise and personable. Your tips are quite valuable. You help us improve our beading! Thank you, Jill, for your excellent videos. It feels like a friend is teaching me every time I watch one of your videos.
    best wishes,

I love the "sicky outy" makes it easy to understand which bead to go you mean. I'm still learning this pattern... practice practice practice.

Thank you Jill! Made a Dutch Spiral today following this. Just got your Kumihimo download and took a day off from work tomorrow to watch it and play! Such a treat! (And I finally got a Bead On It board and am kicking myself as I waited so long!) Great info, well done videos, again...Thank you!

Have to admit, it took me a while to get used to the Dutch Spiral look, but after about 6", it's finally starting to appeal to me. Got your book, Spiral Ropes, today and can't wait to get started. Love the designs; some of my favorites.

    Hi Jill,
Thanks for your videos! I always appreciate when someone takes the time to to do this and share their knowledge. I am working on this project at the moment but keep giggling as I repeat "into the sticky outty bead". I LOVE it! It is so appropriate but yet funny too!

Beautiful bracelets & perfect color combos! I noticed the date of this video but what can I say, I discovered beading pretty late in life (but not quite too late!), so I'm way behind everyone in all these techniques. Still though, I'm truly joyful with what I actually [can] do! I've bought several of Jill Wisemans' beautiful & huge selection of seed beads, etc. and have been wanting to buy more (but I keep forgetting my password). For me it would probably be easier to order by phone, lol! Anyhow y'all, I'm not positive, but I believe Jilly has a Color Chart for those of us having trouble with color combos. You'll find a ton of other things as well, such as threads & needles, all kinds of beads, clasps, etc. Y'all may wanna check that out!

another thing that might help when adding the clasps, is the wire guardians we used when making jewelry with the wired string. I tend to use wire guardians whenever I can, for many different reasons. 1- it protects the wire (or in this case, thread) from fraying over time. 2 - it gives the clasp a little more play, making it easier to put on (especially with toggle clasps!), and 3 - I don't know, but I think it looks a little more professional when your clasp is attached to a wire guardian, as opposed to being attached by thread.

Back when I made this video (8 years ago! Gasp!) we didn't use wire guards in beadweaving! I'd totally use them if I did this video now! Good call!

@@JillWisemanDesigns wow, these tutorials were done that long ago?!?. I've been making jewelry for over 20 years, but I've been bead weaving for a little under 2 years. I love bead weaving, because it gives me a chance to do a lot more! My jewelry looks more intricate now. If you allow it, I would love to send you some pictures of the things I've created using some of your tutorials!

I ordered the kit, and I am having a lot of peace-inducing moments with it. I discovered something quite serpendituosly. How do you thread the needle without going crazy? Grasp the Fireline a little from the end with a pair of tweezers. Sliding the tweezers to the end of the thread smoosh (a very Wiseminian word) the end of the Fireline. It will now fit through the eye of the needle. You can use the tweezers to pull it through.

Hi Jill. I love your tutorial videos. I have one question. What size needle and thread goes with this project? Maybe I missed it in the video. If so, I am so very sorry. Also, when you say the number of the bead, is it the size ie, 8mm, and 11mm?
    Thank you,
    Barbara
