The most impressive imo was Yelan -- she is a C0 SUPPORT going up against MDPS characters! When I watched through I thought she was a C6, then I read this and now I just want to skip every banner and save for her cons and bow.

yelan doesn't seem c0. there's the c2 coordinated attacks doing 95k+. c0 would only have 3 exquisite throws per wave (30k x 3)

Yes. You can clear the abyss with only support units. But you cant do it with only DPS units.
It's just so clear that meta support units are irreplaceable.

Yes but xiao was on a different account which don't have faruzan or furina.
As a day one player i recently realized that meta will always change and that the current abyss will be more suited for the banners of that patch to boost sales. Power creep is senseless for a game you can beat with four star units(I've done this so much even with constellationless 4 stars). SO FOCUS ON GETTING CHARACTERS YOU REALLY LOVE AND NOT BECAUSE IT'S META

@@aKiSeraphic that's not always the case especially for f2p players, example of this is i know people who purposefully skipped neuvillette and furina no matter how much damage they do cause they are simping for navia's character design and not focusing on her damage output
You still shouldn't completely disregard meta tbh even if your main goal is to focus on your favourite characters. The key is to understand _why_ something is meta and using that knowledge to make your faves stronger.
Alhaitham-Nahida Quickbloom is still better in terms of power and flexibility than Cyno Quickbloom, but applying the former's principle to the latter by having two Dendro (Baizhu & Nahida) and a slower Hydro that also gives DMG Bonus (Yelan/Furina) allowed for more Quicken uptime and better Aggravate/Spread damage. The same Quickbloom principle is also applicable to a great degree with Tighnari-EM Raiden/Kuki-Baizhu/Nahida-Furina and improves Tighnari's team by a _lot._
Even understanding the basics on why Neuvillette wants DMG Bonus buffs or why Shenhe's Quills are so good for Ayaka can help you improve characters like Wanderer/Yoimiya and gives you a sort of direction for teams that utilize Quicken/Yunjin since they use the same fundamentals.
The main point that a lot of meta yappers misunderstand is that the key part is _comprehension_ over how something works instead of just copying what they see. It opens up for more ways of playing their faves, and it still pains me to see that some people who rave about pulling Cyno for his looks ended up not liking him because they tried to use him in a basic Quicken + Swirl team with Fischl and 4-pc Gilded Dreams, not knowing that 4-pc TF offers a way more fun and functional playstyle due to the extra E Skills + Energy and that Quickbloom and enough DMG Bonus buffs frees him from having to depend on Kazuha/Sucrose/Anemo
@@youraverageguy4930 that's the thing, meta shifts and so many people misunderstand that a single op unit will still be op regardless of who or which other characters you put together in that team, the fail to understand that it's just as simple as team building, having more character pool means flexibility to meta shifts hence i said i can clear the abyss consistently since ar 50 with 4 stars, don't get me wrong i pulled so many 5 star units but i prioritized on getting all copies of 4 star units rather than getting all the "meta" characters cause every unit will be meta when the abyss rotation is currently for them
As a day one player, I rolled for Hu Tao and Ganyu and they still obliterate everything I try. Love them because now I never roll for characters unless I like their design or aesthetic.

They all are teams you can run in abyss lol.
@@jdhdkehev8715 Well some of these teams are mainly for the screenshoot dmg or bosses. Most of them wouldn't be that great against waves of enemies.
barely any of them are? childe international is the only actual abyss team and debatably navia hypercarry. just mona being in your team makes it not good for abyss because she's so damage per screenshot focused@@jdhdkehev8715

Haitham with Mona? Lmao this is just to showcase how big of a number they can get, just comparing the clear times at face value is extremely misguided.
@@fzhs7030 that neuvi team too, (almost) nobody plays him in vape teams, sure, it deals pretty big numbers but Xiang will not recharge and Furina is way more consistent than Mona
Once Cloud retainer comes, Xiao may be completely different because she can buff his plunging attacks!
Would Faruzan/Bennet/Xiao, Cloud R be super OP, or swap Faruzan/Bennet for Furina better?
@@SupaRush At Xianyun's current kit (since changes may happen in beta), Xiao's best team will be C6 Faru, Xianyun and Furina.

This video's xiao could also have performed better, the team they used wasn't good. The team I use for quick clears is Xiao, Faruzan C6, Mona and Bennett. Mona is interchangeable with C4 Jean. And similarly in the future, Xianyun can take the place and replace bennett with Furina for a more comfortable (but less damaging from Xiao) gameplay.
Couldn't AlHaitham clear a bit faster if you do his skill after his burst to skip the wait for the infusion window?
Did Raiden "catches" Sara's buff if you did that?
I always find the Scara showcases very awkward. His main strength is his atk speed so charge attacking feels like a dps loss to me because of its atk animation.
Also i think Thoma should be there rather than Mona, he gives NA dmg bonus and Pyro Res with Bennett
with his signature weapon you definitely want to be normal attacking. Also if you have Mika you can buff normal attack speed!
If you really think thoma gives a higher damage buff than Mona than idk what to tell you man
It’s not a realistic showcase tbh and not trying to be one. Neuv vape, Ayaka melt, Hu Tao with Mona as only hydro character. It’s all about fastest. Navia’s is most realistic here (and even my current team for her)

Question, wouldn't using Navia's burst first in the rotation result in more crystallize appearing? so when you use her skill you get more stack? I don't have her thats why im asking ^^
Her bullets were pre-stacked before starting the rotation, so using her burst at the beginning wouldn't have benefited her at all. I also wanted to maximize my fanfare points, so I used her after Bennett's burst to get healed during the burst's invulnerability frames.

Can someone explain why Childe activates his elemental skill outside Bennett's burst? I've seen a lot of people do this and still confused
his e skill has a mini hydro dmg activation and it will apply hydro to the enemy so it's much more efficient if he will take distance and the pyro application won't be removed

You probably don't have Childe, he applies a LOT of hydro, so he would waste a few seconds waiting for the hydro to disappear

I keep seeing Navia used with Furina in teams. Is there any specific reason for that? Does she offer something specific for Navia is or is it just for off-field damage?

It’s because she is weak without Furina. All sponsored channels need to push the narrative that she is insane. Whereas any dps even 4 star with Furina and Bennett combo will do insane damage

I'm torn.........got guaranteed banner wish. From the start we've always wanted Raiden. Now I got good enough electros like Yae Miko and Kuki. Do I need Raiden still? I like Navia too, but I want Raiden as well since she an archon.
Navia is a great dps, pull her if you like her

So like what does Mona actually do cause I have her cause she moves fast but like I do not notice a difference with her burst vs without
She applies Omen, its effects are:
1. Crow control: small units will be hanging in place
2. The next attack will remove Omen from enemy and have the damage of that attack increased
Note:
At C1, Omen will apply even more effects depending on the type of reaction that removes it. Mainly either dmg increase or CC time increase.
Example:
Using Zhongli E (shred and elemental res decrease) + Bennet's Ult + Mona Ult (triggers vaporise) + Lower than 50% HP Hu Tau Ult can one shot the enemy.
Dont care who is strong, everyone needs Bennett

1. No one uses Mona on daily basis
2. The support carry hard yes, but in case of Navia without Bennett and Furina the dps is bad. Alhaitham and Hu Tao and others can do it with many different supports
Its useless to make a dps showdown without the corresponding supports. 70% of the reason why a character is good is because the character's supports are god like not because the character himself Is good (not nouvilette tho lol)

I crowned Navia and have nearly perfect artifacts + her weapon. She's so strong, even without buffs. I can deal like 210 220k without any Buffs or supports. Not many other chars are so strong alone

Running Raiden as a support or quick swap burst DPS can actually work. Navia actually can be ran quite well in a dual DPS team!

Its not meta, meta = most effective tactic available, if you want to compare how meta they are, put low investment in each of them, use their most available team (mona is unusable in abyss) and do the showcase again.

My itto is very weak he wasn't able to kill Raiden before her vulnerability phase ends and also he is not as good as those in the video in terms of team building,flexibility and dmg.

Sucrose is better than C0 kazuha for reaction dmg but kazuha is better because of the crowd control.

I will say Nuevillette is really really good and op compared to Scara but Scara is still really good when done correctly
