Really miss this guy. Aside from being such a talent on guitar and bass, his voice was so powerful and crystal clear.
This year marks the 5th anniversary of the passing of Keith and Greg; RIP Gentlemen!
    You are greatly missed!

This playing. Beautiful, breathtaking... incomparable. You know, I could watch a thousand different people play these same riffs, listen to a thousand more play these tunes, hear thousands more yet sing them, (they are all over the place and have been done, even here on the tube) but no one, ever, will be able to play *this* way, and with *this* kind of intensity, and with such magic, as Greg. Where does the passion come from inside this man??? I so want to play music with him.

I saw ELP at the CAPITOL THEATER in Salt Lake City in the 90's. It was a small movie theater converted into a concert theater as well as for theatrical productions, and had great acoustics. The concert was amazing and the sound mesmerizing. I knew of a few ELP hits but after that night I never stopped listening. What a truly amazing band. Greg Lake's guitar compositions are so haunting and remind me of music from the Celtic age. I wish he and Emerson would have lived much longer. I could listen to their music forever. RIP to many of the truly great ones. I look forward to hearing their music in the next life. ❤ The music of those artists who lived and performed through the 60s-late 80's was truly some of the greatest most talented songs ever performed. It seems afterward bands got into copy-cat renditions and creativity was lost with the exception of a few who shined through. Thank you ELP for such creativity and talent rarely heard now days. I have always been too introverted to let my talent show to anyone other than friends and family, one of my many regrets. Don't hide your talent when you have it. To do so is truly a sin to allow it to slip by without documenting it.

Greg is so good and talented musician. So underrated imo. Always admired him. His voice takes me to places no other vocalist can, and love to see him doing sound check. Top notch musician of our time. Thank god he never tried to be guitar or bass hero, but focused on making historical music instead. This is absolutely no rant towards Keith, i play keyboards and he was the best in that.

I was fortunate to meet Greg that same year when I was a production assistant for the 1993 Children Under Siege benefit for children of Bosnia at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. My job was helping artists during rehearsals. As an aspiring musician, I talked music with him (and others such as Simon Phillips), and the thing I remember was how gracious he was. A true gentleman.

He was and still is.... a unique contributor to music.....with ELP and in his own right of course.
