They are economic migrants . There are many Sikh families living in Peshawar and in tribal areas , they are well settled and never want to settle in India. Sikhs are very hard workers and they know how to live in all good and bad circumstances and they know how to mix with locals regardless of faith and religion.

For the sikh who chose to reside/live in Pakistan and not migrate to India It's truly an honour, pleasure and delight for Pakistan to have you as their citezens. Pakistan is delighted and proud of its sikh minority
Good on you for respecting non-Muslim minorities. But you insinuating that the majority of Sikhs "chose" to migrate is so laughable. I almost fell off my chair. Chose? They were kicked out! Roving gangs of the Muslim League killed thousands of Sikhs, raped thousands of Sikh women, forcibly took possession of their property and stuff. They were refugees that had to flee, with no choice. My Sikh and Hindu families (mom's side and dad's side) both had to flee West Punjab, with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Its good to strike a conciliatory note, and promote inter-group harmony. But don't get the facts twisted, the Muslim League's fanatical violent obsession with Pakistan at any cost, led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Hindus and Sikhs, and in return there were reprisals that led to Muslims being killed and displaced in some pockets as well.

Now before you think of replying back comparing the situation of Indian Muslims to Pakistani Sikhs. Then there is not much of a logic in doing so in fact as your reading this if you disagree or want to reply with another essay (unnecessary dragging an uninvited debate) then revise through that essay yourself first then talk about it to Pakistani Sikh NOT ME. I was a former Hindu, I live in America. My family a small portion is Muslim and the majority is Hindu. My family is Brahmin and Khatris and very proud of this distinction. It was the kindness of Muslims, the beauty of the clear messages within the Quran, and the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), I reverted to Islam. I never looked back. Kindness, good character and following the sunnah of nabi Muhammed (SAW) was what opened my heart to Islam.
Wow, this was very surprising. The media and politics causes so much division and hatred within different communities... but this video gave me assurance that there are amazing people in all countries because we're all the same at the end of the day.

Even tho i am from a small city of Pakistan, once i was in bazaar of my city and i saw a clothing store of a sikh, they were 4 5 sikhs was running the store, i saw 1st time sikhs in my city and i got really excited and i wanted to go in their shop...immediately excited tell my mother in ears, "Ammi, wo dekhain sikhon ki dukaan" 😂😂❤❤ and there was their 12 to 13 years old kid and i still remember he was wearing blue "pag" and he was so cute.
And i can say that even our city is small but people thinking is not small at all. their shop was fully busy amd i can see from their faces they were fully into work like nornal Pakistanis.
They are not minorities, they are part of this country like everyone. Even they have part in our flag. 💜
