Imagine if you added the naval spec to the wheel, instead of saying ”no airborne or no support please” you can say ”no airborne, support or naval please”! Oh the joy! Day 17 of asking for naval!
Always love the vids and glad to watch em, an interesting game to be sure though a little bit mid about the Blue Dragons game being 10 minutes against an opponent who's out here with the classic strat of double ASF -> buy nothing for the ground -> Surrender
He lost when he bought 300pts of asf. Forced him into buying bombers to get something out of the air superiority, then was at a 500pt deficit for ground units. Razz had like maybe 150pts worth of helos get shot down, but the ninja got some value and the OH6s provided essential recon that let him use his ground advantage more effectively.
Good video as usual. What do you think makes cheap self propelled artillery like the ANZAC M108 and the Japanese one worth it? Compared to a mortar what makes up for their inferior accuracy and ROF, particularly when compared to a 5 HE mortar that does the same damage?
One thing the game/ armory does not tell you is that the 5HE of Mortars and Howitzers are not identical. The Howitzer's 5HE shells have a significantly bigger splash radius (both for acutal damage and suppression) which is a huge factor. Combine that with the fact that you can quickly spam them as well as them having a decent sustained rof while having "only" 20s aim time. Units like the Prist and M108 specifically also carry a lot of ammo with them so you never have to resupply them (just buy a new one and merge them with existing ones if they run out) or run a FOB.

I think one tactic, if you are airborne, is take foxtrot and India and deny the sky (hopefully you have EW)
