Another under 3 minute song… Y’know, I wish more songs (especially the hard dance ones) would be more than 2 minutes, like 3+ minutes at most. They’re good don’t get me wrong and I also understand time crunches, but until the time comes (song contest restrictions or BOF, etc.) only then are you able to make songs from 2:00 - to 2:40 or so. Maybe even less I guess. Even for USAO, I was expecting at least Phalanx type length.
I do too, but at the same time, after a certain length (3min) these songs become too long to enter rhythm games and need edits to become short enough, which most people wont want to edit it themselves to put it into things such as Wacca Plus.
@Mabayu if it comes repetitive then I wouldn’t like it. Around 3 - 5 minutes at most is what I want out of hardstyle songs nowadays because it gives time to let me savor the kicks themselves, and it’s not just that, I like looking at the waveform too, so when it goes away, I won’t get to see the rectangles go above the ceiling. If it’s a separate album, it should be so. People cut songs all the time when it comes to rhythm games, I’ve seen rhythm game developers before cut a song from 7:00 to 2:40 before so
