I think to improve the whole trapping system, they should make it so you can opt not to save anyone when given the choice, to guarantee that the next level will let you rescue one. Not a massive deal but it would be cool to be able to not have to save one of your crappy Collab units you put in as filler, in favour of one that's actually useful.

This challenge was pretty hard for me cause I used all my good units first so I could only make it to level 9
I hope your Warlock & Pierre isn’t level 1! It’s the only unit with base destroyer in only the first form! Also true form N003 and N004! They’re two of of the best egg units in the game alongside courier and mushroom!
Great vid! I'd like to suggest (not the backseat gaming type don't worry ♥) using the lil button to the left of your screen in the Equip menu when doing the Underground Labyrinth because Ponos made it so that using that lil button also has the option to quickly remove all the Cat Units that were Trapped in the Labyrinth!
Ponos also put the option to only see Usable cats in the Equip menu in a more convenient place which also let's you see only untrapped Cat Units when choosing your Loadout! Very convenient. Hope it helps :)

Matt, if you want to, you could TF Professor Cat Jobs. It gets faster, gets surge attacks, and survives a lethal strike. It can be good for bosses that do high damage, as it weakens them to only 1% of their damage, and if you get some Weaken effect up CatComboes, you could even lock them in a permanent stasis of weakening. Now, don't take this as a requirement, because it can be quite terrible for stages without a singular strong boss, considering how weak it is (and it's single target), but if you ever need help with a strong boss with high damage, you can count on Professor Cat Jobs.
I absolutely enjoyed this event, definitely some of my favorite content from this game ever. Lots of strategy and skill, and also rewards end game players for actually leveling up units and all the useless units they have.
General tips:
Always always save cheap meatshields. There's not a lot generally in the game, and most of them are collab or seasonal, so only bring one or two cheap units (or a semi spammable one, like anything below 375 or with
I know that this has NOTHING to do with battle cats, but i have one game that i never see people suggest.
It's a very underrated rhythm game. You may or may not have heard of it before. Its name is Arcaea.
Basically, in the shortest terms possible, I can only describe Arcaea as "anime-style 3d piano tiles." It's super fun, and I recommend you give it a shot!
Reached floor 77 and damn, the last 5 floors were intense uber/legend rare carries

It was quite the opposite for me. I saved the best units for later stages which made earlier levels hard but later stages a cakewalk. Floor 90+ were much easier that floor70-80 because of this.

@@destroreact5706 I lost on only 1-2 floors but I had 341 units at the beginning so I eventually ran out. Although I've played quite a bit (1400H) and therefore even my worst units are above level 40, I never really pulled from the event gachas so that kinda screw me over lmao. Nice job reaching the end

Hello mattshea. You should try to evolve egg number 004. Its a good rusher with high dmg, barrier/aku shield piercer, and knockback against traited enemies.

If you're lucky you might be able to hold on to a unit for dozens of stages, I actually managed to keep dark lazer from level 1 all the way until level 27
