    Awesome tutorial! I spent a lot of time last week trying to fuss around with an installation and constantly ran into issues. Just had to copy and paste your commands from your link and got it deployed quickly! Only issue I ran into was getting the service to start and listen on port 9000. Reboot solved the problem without issues.

    If you are facing this error "Failed to enable unit: Unit file sonarqube.service does not exist."
    use this command -> sudo systemctl enable sonarqube

    How we will ensure that sonar is using the sonarqube database and not the postgres?

  • @vicchern

    Hi. I tried to use Sonar Qube with Gradle. Installed everything. localhost:9000 is working. But when I tried to start ./gradlew sonarqube, I receiving FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.
    * What went wrong:
    Execution failed for task ':sonarqube'.
    someClass.java can't be indexed twice. Please check that inclusion/exclusion patterns produce disjoint sets for main and test files .
    What I missed? I already checked the documentation and StackOverflow.
    On another project works fine

    I am using PostreSQL for the first time, The postresql.service is running successfully over ubuntu 20.04. But when accessing the the server over browser the page is not displaying. getting "This site cannot be reached". Now that I have followed your tutorial I am getting the nginx page over default port (80). I have also gone through the troubleshooting steps that you have mentioned over your website but there in elasticsearch option my memory size shows "-Xms4g" and "-Xmx4g" and they are commented. I have tried uncommenting them but still shows the same result. When running "netstat -tulpena | grep 9000" I am getting nothing.. If I am missing anything from the configurations, Please let me know it would be greatly appreciated.
    Note:- I am using m4.large ec2-instance with port open 9000 and 9001 over Windows11 with putty as a SSH client.
