Oh, this would be a dream come true. I love these guys, and the prospect of working with them would be amazing. I remember when they had a hiring call out a while back and I debated editing the footage and submitting it.

I've been a motion graphic designer and 3D generalist for over 5 years here in our local multimedia company and the prospect of working with you guys has always been my dream because I grew up watching your videos and you're one of my major inspiration throughout the years to pursue the career I'm currently in but I feel like I'm still lacking to be adequate to your work ecosystem but good luck to whoever you hire in the future I'm sure they deserve it. I love how the comment section is full of unqualified, but extremely supportive folks, like myself. Would love to work with the crew, but my knowledge of film is limited to scriptwriting and production. I edited subtitles for a short film once and it took me 8+ hours. It was awful. 🤣

This is by far the best job application process I have ever seen. Everything was clear, concise and detailed. I have about 25 years experience in ms paint so I think I’ll take my qualifications somewhere else but I really appreciate how you guys go about this hiring process with the ease and accessibility to applying for those positions.
Almost 12 years ago you guys inspired me to start doing digital art on the internet, now i'm doing youtube, twitch, game development & modding, graphic design, and so much other random shit that I never would have considered had you guys, freddie & brandon hadn't done what you did. I'm gonna apply, but even if I don't make it to round 2-- know how much you guys have inspired the trajectory of my entire life.
I’ve watched ‘the shot list’ by studiobinder so I’m basically a professional.
Edit: for anyone who hasn’t seen the series, you should. Even if you aren’t a filmmaker it really deepens your understanding of the films you watch and appreciate them.
I am none of those professions, but I love that Corridor does this kind of recruitment actually from their fan base. And I'm excited to see what kind of talent comes up through this process.

Havent done much editing, but yall have really made me want to learn so many skills when it comes to videos. So With that being said I will not be submitting for anything but I will be using your Raw files to try and learn some editing. So thanks for that! and everything you guys do.

I’m so excited to apply I was inspired by this channel five years ago. I’m grateful to this channel for hurling me down a VFX path!
I'm gonna try to do something with this, though not officially submit it. I'm trying to teach myself some video and photo editing to see what I like, don't like, and might want to pursue further. Super appreciative of you guys for throwing the footage out there.
This is like my dream job. I wouldn't be doing animation/vfx today if it wasn't for you guys and freddie. Too bad I just started my own studio. Hopefully I can meet and/or work with this crew by other means someday!

I watched this when it was released this morning and have been thinking about it all day! I am going for it 🙌 I have been a corridor fan for 10 years now.

I love that you guys are reaching out the community. I’m just a basic editor/videographer in comparison, I feel like. I work regularly for clients. I’m self-taught as well and only started a couple years ago. You guys rock and I look forward to learning from you guys, either way!

Working at Corridor is probably in my top 5 dream jobs, I've been watching for years!!! Although with school and work I probably won't put in a submission. Maybe the next time, I'll put in a submission, but until then keep up the great work, and keep making the best videos!!!

I want to try applying for the editing position so badly, even if I don’t think I’d make it. But right now moving somewhere is a huge dealbreaker for me, so I gotta skip for that. Seriously though, i’m not ready at this point in my journey to contribute to these guys work. At the speed at which I am learning though I will be at that point very soon. When I look back at my work I was doing this time last year it amazes me how far I’ve come. Maybe next time I will compete. I honestly want to right now just for the joy of the The process but that would not be respectful to their time.
If anyone from the Corredor crew reads this, it would be awesome if you guys could do a contest. I would love to be able to do this without feeling bad about wasting your guys time. I’m not saying that out of a sense of hero worship. We are all artist here and there’s nothing wrong with being a little bit farther behind in the journey as long as were still moving forward. I just know you guys are running a business as well.

@@zakooky Why would you assume that they are peddling for free work? Think of it like this. My day job pays me $27 an hour. My manager gets paid a lot more then I do. Therefore my time is less valuable than my managers time in the eyes of the company.
Let’s say for a minute that they hire me to edit this video together. Let’s also say that I really put my heart and soul into it and it takes me about eight hours. That would be $216 for a video. That is how much money they would save by getting people to do this for free if that was truly their goal. Now think about how much they get paid. They are going to have to watch all of the submissions. It’s reasonable to assume that they are going to get thousands. Let’s be very generous though and say they only get 100. One of their episodes is about 20 minutes long. If they get 100 submissions then they are going to be spending 33 hours of watchtime. Being that these guys live in LA they probably make more or equal money to what I do. That is the value of about $891 that they are spending. That is only for 100 submissions. They are probably going to get an order of magnitude more than that. Also can you imagine the amount of entertainment value that they would get from watching the same episode 100 times? I would be willing to pay someone $27 an hour so I wouldn’t have to do that

I would submit my stuff, but I'm in no way knowledgeable enough to work for your studio. But I do want to say that I love what you guys do, you've inspired me to learn 3d modelling and rendering. I've even made a few full length animations, but nothing with live action. Best of luck to all that do submit and I'll be interested to see who becomes the next members of the corridor crew.
I think you should at least work on something to submit. I'm no where near a professional level but I'm still going to edit the raw footage to practice editing with professional footage. I won't submit it tho since I don't want to clutter the process

They do this instead of setting up a listing. They've had great success in hiring from their viewer pool b/c the people actually care about the channels videos!

I work in an entirely different field, but I enjoy watching this show for how well-run their business seems to be: how conflicts are handled, job satisfaction, and getting great work out of your employees. I'm interested in any tips I can pick up on the hiring process. Being very clear about the application process is a great way to see if future employees can follow directions.

I love you guys and I intend to apply someday, or at least submit my next reel for feedback on what I can do to make myself the best candidate for corridor.
If you see this though, I have one specific question. Is there a place for multimedia artists with what you do? For instance, I went to school for gamedev, and we were heavily encouraged to specialize unless we wanted to go indie. Because AAA studios tend to want artists that can do select things extremely well. Is this also what you look for?

I have been apart of this community since 'Art of the Instakill' came out. You all inspired me to edit more and I have had my ups and downs with the profession itself, but it is my dream to be an editor. I just know I can't move yet, so I will still submit a project just for the hell of it and also just to say thank you because this has always been in my head and I even put it in my senior project. I told my teacher that it has been a dream to work with or for you all and to be apart of that team would be amazing. I genuinely hope someone who has amazing talents can get this job and I hope to have the opportunity in a few years. Thank you Corridor and the people behind the name for this amazing opportunity!

Been watching your show for about 3 years, loving everything you guys produce. But particularly Wren's work. Downloaded the 20GB, worst footage in history. But has potential for 3 ideas. I wish I were qualified to join the team- I have recently fallen in love with filmmaking (from screenwriting to acting to editing in post-production), and I wish there was a "learning/beginner" internship or something like that to apply for. Corridor Crew looks like a fun team to be a part of!
I've always wanted to work with and/or for you guys! Love what you do and how passionate everyone is about so many different things, always branching out and experimenting with the latest in tools and technology. Unfortunately, I'm actually a Software Engineer from Australia with almost no chance of moving to the states (anytime soon) but that didn't stop me watching this whole video in the hope that I'd have some sort of epiphany and somehow make that dream a reality. Nonetheless! I am so excited for the 2 people out there who are going to fill these new roles!
