Nicely done. I have constructed a 1:60 model of HMB Endeavour. The level of difficulty seems about the same. The rigging is fiddly and time-consuming but adds so much more interest than a model without sails.Great lighting ideas. I am awaiting my OcCre construction set for HMS Beagle. Will have to be patient. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent work! Nicely done. I am preparing on Golden Hint from Occre, so I let inspired by you and if you have nothing against it I will make the lighst by you :) thank you for inspiration
Looks awesome, incredible work, love the lights! I just bought this kit. What stain did you use for the cabins and other deck pieces? Did you also stain the hull?
Kabin and deck i painted with lacquer satin "light oak". The hull of ship, masts, and all brown parts i painted with "dark walnut" stain. Black and white paints are flat Tamyia XF-1 and XF2.
I have this kit in my lineup. Three or four ships and it is next. I am VERY interested in the lights. I will build Mantua’s Amerigo Vespucci before this kit. It needs lights too. Can you point me to supplies and wiring diagram ideas? Thank you! Excellent work!
It's nothing special. You make two instalation with + and - on both sites of ship. Solden wires together and to all light sources. Then make conection points on bottom of ship hull. All light bulps and led strips have + and -. It's very simple. Lights i bought in modelshop, bulps and led stips in local elecric shop.
Great job, I am at the life boats stage, I notice you have painted the hulls on the boats, black for the one on the stern and white on the ones hung over the sides. I was thinking of doing this, is it more historically correct? Also I notice you have painted the lower parts of the masts black is this also more correct? Thanks.
I painted the lower parts of mast to cover wires to lamps. Back boat in black i saw on Beagle picture.www.amazon.com/Charles-Darwins-Notebooks-Voyage-Beagle/dp/0521517575
@@marcinm2767 Thanks, I have just being doing some more research myself and most pictures I can find show all three boats hung over the stern and sides seem to have black hulls so I think that's what I will do. I found this quite useful www.cloudtour.tv/beagle
Just bought this model! Finding it really hard to find the right paint for it as theres not much info about it. What paints did you use for this model?
@@marcinm2767 Ropes were on the last small one I made, such a tricky part ! I've ordered the Beagle, some more lockdown is comming up so I can have plenty of time !
Amazing work. One item I wish you had included was; how did you route the wires up through the same holes as the masts? Also, how did you manage to hide them from view in the final build

Great! I'm building it as well :)
Complexité des cordages mais que de beaux navires ...
Красивая модель.👍
I love this model. I'm looking for this just slightly smaller, say around 18" in length and have the same level of detail. Any ideas?
i don't think so. I thin is only one model on market.

Blac mat Tamiya xf1 and white mat Tamiya xf2
Super!
Thanks
Nice job, Marcin. How difficult would you say the kit is to build?
It have more sails than another small ships. So there is so much ropes.

Скорее всего разрезал мачту пополам, сделал паз и в него уложил провода.
Great job and idea about the lighting. Did you make the 3 lanterns yourself? If not, where did you purchase them from?
I bought them in internet model shop. And light bulbs in lokal elctric shop. Mayby in your country somebody sell thouse lanterns.
Beautiful ! How you make the light ?
Inside led strips, on masts smal light bulps.
@@marcinm2767 thanks !
Are the lights included or are they an addition of yours
under video is description
