The 2d games are extremely good also! And if worried about disc swapping, there are cheap all-in-one cartridges that add storage, 4mb ram, and region restriction removal! It's a shame you couldn't get a cable with s-video out... Much better and more stable picture! I sometimes find them in the 100 yen junk bucket.
It is a big problem to find any type of video cables for Saturn in Japan. Sometimes you can find only Saturn body. But there are no cables. So I bought a full set at once. Anyway I have no TV with S-video input.
