I like the stoic version of boruto, I like seeing him go against enemies and not having the look of being worried. I hope at some point in the series, he becomes the ultimate god
The interesting thing is he doesn't really want to be a god, but a shinobi like Sasuke... And his OP Ninjutsu actually do reflect that. He's stopped spamming Shadow Clones in favor of Flying Thunder God. His Rasengan Uzuhiko is basically a guaranteed kill just by touch. And he has Purple Electricity to boot, and he favors kenjutsu. His new kit is pretty much geared towards precision and assassination--- And I actually really love that direction.

Since Kashin Koji’s chakra signature is registered to Konoha, he’s shown to leave a couple of his summoning toads inside the village undetected. He could’ve had one of them sneak inside the village archives, find info on the Flying Raijin, and take it back to his hideout for Boruto to learn it. That works too. Makes sense either way.

Boruto as a character is so refreshing compared to standard MCs in shonen manga, maybe it’s just me but I get tired of every MC being a dumb idiot who’s got a high battle IQ like Naruto, Goku or Luffy. I like protagonist like Boruto because he’s proof that kishimoto put time and effort into him, he isn’t a Naruto clone and he does have struggles. On a basic level we can all relate to being in math class and answering a hard question, getting it right but then having the teacher fail you because you didn’t show your work which while fair can also be annoying because you got the answer right in your head or if not you came close. Boruto is the kinda guy who does the work in his head and gets the correct answer of 4, while you or I could do the same and get a 3 but we pick 4 because we know that we were close and we’re just off by 1 somewhere along the way. In both cases we needed to show or work and understand the fundamentals but we skip them, a flaw that a lot of people struggle with in life because you gotta take care of the little things to get to the big things in life

Considering that Kashin Koji is a clone of Jiraiya who knows Fuinjutsu and actually taught Minato who probably learned basic Fuinjutsu from him and was able to learn Flying Thunder God, it all makes sense.
I like that Boruto made his own version of the Flying Raijin His version seems to be more versatile than Minato's Jiraiya's memories in Koji came in handy here.
What's interesting is that each genius that solo uses Flying Thunder God figures out how to make the formula smaller. Tobirama's formula was huge and intricate, Minato made it small enough to fit a kunai, and now Boruto figured out how to make the formula so small he can place it on PINS

There will come a new sequel after Boruto, was said in an interview. Probably the last installment, but i think its highly necessary. Why: Because we could get a full circle story where Ototsuki and humans are on the same page. And also to see how Boruto turned out with Sarada and how Kawaki changed.

Depends. the accepted standard IQ level for genius is 140. 130 puts you within the top 2% of the population. I wouldn't qualify for American Mensa, you need to have a 130 to get that. 129 counts as being in the 97.5% range. Average is 90-110. So I'd say 129 is more like well above average but not genius. If I were a Naruto character, the genius characters would be like: Neji, Sasuke, Itachi....I'm more like Shino, smarter than most people but not considered a genius. I hope that we get a minato appearance. I mean since the Reaper death seal was unleashed he was able to go to kushina. What if he appeared to boruto and granted him the skill to pull the ftg off. im imagining its considered a new jutsu like how boruto made his own Vanishing Rasengan, having more limitations may make it less chakra consumptive or maybe its intended to specifically counteract kawaki. even if the marker gets shrunk he might still be able to teleport to it, or maybe all of his markers are frog contracts? and some of them are transformed into shuriken? that way they cant be shrunk by kawaki. its till too soon to tell i think anything could turn out to be the truth with kk involved
I like the irony that Boruto is such a genius that he can arrive at the end goal very quickly, but he doesn't have all the fundamentals to reinforce the foundations of that end goal. It's kind of like... Honestly that's how I passed high school. I barely studied, didn't memorize a lot, but I figured out most of the tests on the spot.
I also think another limitation of Boruto’s Flying Raijin is that he can only travel and can’t teleport people or objects like Minato would do a bijuu bomb hence he’s of no use going to help Himawari. He can’t teleport her away from Jura with Flying Raijin or Karma and he can’t fight in base while Kawaki is there.

One correction to make here about Naruto and Sasuke being marked during the war. They weren't. Remember the FTG also allows the user to teleport whatever comes in to contact with their chakra as well. Remember Minato teleported the entire alliance? During the 9 tails attack when Obito materializes behind Minato and grabs his hand and begins to teleport Minato, he zips out of there. Now you can say he wasn't fully in the dimension but have we ever seen anyone else be in his position and escape? Foo and Torune couldn't do it, not even Kakashi could do it and he's got Kamui too. Plus Boruto says he's not as skilled with FTG as Minato, which means if toads carrying markings in other dimensions allows for Boruto to enter, then the same should apply for Minato. He's just not been in an era where there's a bunch of Otsutsuki running around with their own space/time ninjutsu. There's plenty of ways to buff up Minato's use of FTG, but many won't see it because of how he died. And I used to be in that camp, but after years of seeing and reading over the fight.. If Boruto is able to travel across dimensions, then Minato can since there is no range limit. However, Kamui is stated to be a sealed dimension. But aren't Kaguya's dimensions sealed as well? If adult Sasuke was able to enter and exit her dimensions, it means they are not sealed. The theory is that Kamui dimension is like Kurama being sealed inside Naruto and Madara once couldn't summon Kurama when he got revived as an Edo Tensei. Another argument is that the Kamui dimension looks very different from Kaguya's dimensions and Kara's dimension. The Kamui dimension consists of randomly arranged and differently sized rectangular prisms with a dark and apparently endless void. It would make sense for him to still use the toad to teleport as it would keep the marker secret (assuming he placed one). On a basic level we can all relate to being in math class and answering a hard question, getting it right but then having the teacher fail you because you didn’t show your work which while fair can also be annoying because you got the answer right in your head or if not you came close. Depends. the accepted standard IQ level for genius is 140. 130 puts you within the top 2% of the population. I wouldn't qualify for American Mensa, you need to have a 130 to get that. 129 counts as being in the 97.5% range. Average is 90-110. So I'd say 129 is more like well above average but not genius. If I were a Naruto character, the genius characters would be like: Neji, Sasuke, Itachi....I'm more like Shino, smarter than most people but not considered a genius. I also think another limitation of Boruto’s Flying Raijin is that he can only travel and can’t teleport people or objects like Minato would do a bijuu bomb hence he’s of no use going to help Himawari. He can’t teleport her away from Jura with Flying Raijin or Karma and he can’t fight in base while Kawaki is there.

One correction to make here about Naruto and Sasuke being marked during the war. They weren't. Remember the FTG also allows the user to teleport whatever comes in to contact with their chakra as well. Remember Minato teleported the entire alliance? He didn't mark the entire alliance for this feat but that's the only thing I had to say.

During the 9 tails attack when Obito materializes behind Minato and grabs his hand and begins to teleport Minato, he zips out of there. Now you can say he wasn't fully in the dimension but have we ever seen anyone else be in his position and escape? Foo and Torune couldn't do it, not even Kakashi could do it and he's got Kamui too.
Plus Boruto says he's not as skilled with FTG as Minato, which means if toads carrying markings in other dimensions allows for Boruto to enter, then the same should apply for Minato. He's just not been in an era where there's a bunch of Otsutsuki running around with their own space/time ninjutsu.
There's plenty of ways to buff up Minato's use of FTG, but many won't see it because of how he died. And I used to be in that camp, but after years of seeing and reading over the fight.. You definitely have a point. Minato was almost sent to the Kamui dimension but escaped because of the Flying Raijin. Now, the question is can Minato exit the Kamui dimension? If Boruto is able to travel across dimensions, then Minato can since there is no range limit. However, Kamui is stated to be a sealed dimension. But aren't Kaguya's dimensions sealed as well? If adult Sasuke was able to enter and exit her dimensions, it means they are not sealed.
The theory is that Kamui dimension is like Kurama being sealed inside Naruto and Madara once couldn't summon Kurama when he got revived as an Edo Tensei. Another argument is that the Kamui dimension looks very different from Kaguya's dimensions and Kara's dimension. The Kamui dimension consists of randomly arranged and differently sized rectangular prisms with a dark and apparently endless void. For example, when Minato saved baby Naruto from Obito's tactic, he used the Flying Raijin and we could witness Minato entering a dimensional void, also an area without Space or Time that is empty. The dimensional void looks like the Kamui dimension, but without the objects or prisms. Obito absorbs himself into his personal dimension and from that dimension he can transport to any location although it takes a bit longer to travel than the Flying Raijin which is faster. I am not implying that the Flying Raijin is also a sealed dimension, because it doesn't have a dimension, but the concept is similar to the dimensional void.
Another way to praise the Flying Raijin is that it is one of the most useful jutsu.
