Lara Fabian was 100% holding her voice back otherwise she would cover Laura's voice. I heard years ago that they put Laura's mic at higher tone than Lara's, then Laura wouldn't sound so low comparing to Lara's high notes and ressonance. Because everybody whom knows Lara Fabian has an idea of what she's able to do, breath control out of this world, perfect pitch and great placement from F3 to A5. Live vocal range from Eb3 to G6. She's still holding perfectly notes like C5 over 12 seconds in 2023. And YES, she speaks fluently 5 languages, her mother and grandmother were Italians, so she speaks Italian since her childhood. Plus, she has alread sang in 12 languages and composed songs in 4. ;)

Lara Fabian's vocal superiority is undeniable, while Laura tries hard to reach the high notes, Lara does them very easily, which is why her voice sounds so good in the high notes.
