Ngl for me, I’m used to toxic relationships so I’ve never done the silent treatment because I was scared of losing them. Just listening to this lowkey makes me feel so bad because I’ve gotten the silent treatment before for dumb things. Idk, this one just hit different for me.

The silent treatment is absolutely terrible and I refuse to see myself in this character. Nap dates are the best for overworked partners. Drink tea, have simple snacks, fuzzy blanket fort and just cuddle.

as someone who has given the silent treatment before, it really came from a place of deep hurt. i really isolated myself in my head and just operated almost like a zombie. i guess for some people (like myself) it just happens because you become overwhelmed with hurt and are trying to process it, i know others use it as a manipulation tactic though.
