Absolutely Amazing. I wish I lived there full time. Wizards, and Rock Elementals, and Archers Battalions. Knife Fights in Olde Towne. Shield Maidens, Leather Clad Elven Beauties... Yes Please to it all!!

As one of the archers who got yoinked for the battalion, can confirm it was very cool (we were promised 10 solar for our participation, only got paid 5 🤣) but the organizers said they wanted to run it again for next year!
I was an archer that turned them down, had plenty fun doing my own thing. My buddy joined them but said it was mostly walking and not much doing. Might join next time.

The best reminder to have proper boots for the battle field! :P (I personnaly wear military march boots. Perfectly sealed againts water and mud)
A couple years back the monsters were a bit differents than now.
There was two type : small and large.
Small had about (if I remember well) 10 hp while the large ones was at 20.
They were hitting at the same damage as now (during a time shields could also be 'broken' by them).
But, here the catch... the rules state the no one could even attack them unless you were a runic warrior. (otherwise you should play as if you were afraid of said monsters)
To be one you'd need to go in a quest during one of the days in the week, all the way to a ritual. It was impressive to see them track down monsters on the battle field I must confess xD
Now, everyones may hit them regardless. A bit easier to process with all the rest of the rules tho.
Archers.. I'll be damned, I got another good memory of a huge batallion of archers.
We were 8 differents HQ to conquer points for the 8 most common religions at Bicolline.
With my guild we were with the Cercle for the 'first' time ... or at least for the same cause.
Our group was the main heavy section of our side .. most of the rest were archers, almost 40 of them running around and make rain arrows, litteraly, on the field!
It was ... damn, awesome to watch (even so we waited most of the time-3 hours under the sun- to check points... and we clearly stated to our 'general' before that we wanted the front line... anyway...)
The Bico staff is discussing bringing back the runics.
This could be interesting since this was bringing a whole idea and rithm to the game for some people... and now that we are plenty more players, this would have another perspective ... lets wait then ^^ we'll see what come out of their discussions.@@robinst-pierre9600

This is amazing! I love all of the stories I hear in these comment sections! I remember hearing about runic warriors an thinking it really reminded me of a witcher lol! I think the RP of running scared away from the monster and having a hero come fight would be really cool. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences.

I still remember getting cold while waiting for the battles to start since there was so much down time in between! Still sooo much fun!
