My room has a similar layout to yours, but I have curtains around my windows and I want to reduce the clutter, so those window blinds you have look ideal. If you're looking for desk pad that would be very comfortable for elbows / wrists, you may wanna have a look at fusionstrike original limestone desk mat. Been using it for 3 years personally and my friends, so far it's been great so we made a whole batch of them. Currently ship within UK but could sort out international shipment too. The rubber is made from sustainable limestone rock (instead of oil/petrol) which makes it more environmentally friendly than most desk mats out there. It's laminated with super stretch smooth nylon so it's mouse compatible and very gentle to skin.

just in the middle of changing my setup. Got some of those IKEA cable tidies but that Amazon ‘modesty’ wall looks fantastic (mainly as you can slap cables in the back rather than get tangled up like the IKEA one). Will have to check it out
I’ve used many of them and this one is by far the best. Comes in two different sizes too, I have the larger one.

Saw something that might help you organize all those peripheries. If you ever intend to upgrade your monitor riser again I'd recommend the LANQ PcDock Pro Max, it has wireless charging, built-in usb hub and an integrated wifi adapter (although it is black so it might not match that new desk). :)

Not only do I love and want this set up, I want the career that would provide me the resources to afford two Apple studio monitors. Seriously, this is a gorgeous set up.
I also got a widescreen monitor vertical at the left side. I had to get an extra tiltable g-sync monitor that matched the Hz to be sure it all got stable.
Everything you own is so crisp and sleek. That tool kit is sexy

Your LG 5k video had me wanting the ultrawide and 17. Now this comes along and don't know what to do haha.
Haha well the picture quality from the Studio is what attracted me. I still have the 40” ultrawide, will probably set that up at on a different desk at my actual work office.
And here I am using an old beat up ikea table top on standing desk frame .. You make me want a nicer top. Great video
In 2015, I used a $50 ikea desk that I bought used with a hollow table top lol. I was praying it wouldn’t split in half sometimes. It took some time to finally upgrade the desk space and now I can’t stop upgrading 😅

So all kidding aside (my earlier comment about not eating) I've been on the hunt for a new desk set up for quite a while and I think this just might be the one. We have a similar aesthetic with lots of white and that has been a real challenge finding a desk that I like in white with great quality, a look that I really like and that's not outrageously expensive. Changing it up to a thick wood top like the maple with my white accessories will look good together. I have the same mouse (LOVE the MX Master) and El Gato boom arm in white. I think I will get the stand in white though and it's probably worth it to get the white modesty tray and coasters for it too. What also sold me on it was the desk shelf with the drawer. Very clean look and I like the minimalism. I'll pass on the Apple monitors for my MacBook though, they are nice but really too dang expensive and overkill for my needs. My 32" and 27" white 4k Samsung M70 smart monitors will do just fine. All in I think this is going to be the one I get for myself it'll just be Ramen noodles and PB&J's for the next year. 😏

Looks nice! Have you experienced any lag problems with the mx master 3s connected with the bolt receiver through the thunderbolt dock? I have a cheap usb-c hub and I have lag problems and I was thinking to upgrade to a thunderbolt 4 dock to also be able to connect my HDMI monitor with one cable to my MacBook pro.

interesting to see you down size... I am working with a 34" UW and 27" in portrait orientation... I use a lot of programs and windows for my 9-5, so I am thinking about upgrading to 40" UW, and getting the LG DUALup... so I actually liked your initial setup... but I understand if someone doesn't need all the screen real estate it can be too much. having said that I do like clean minimalistic aesthetic, so I am trying to marry the two.. have a lot of screen real estate but clean and simple.

Just came across this video, I am about to swap out a solid L-shaped desk for a smaller normal type tomorrow, just like you I found the L-shaped desk had become to cumbersome and was taking up far to much space in my small office.
The L is great if I had more space but yeah it feels a bit crammed after some time.
