I used to have a line outside for hanging my clothes, not anymore. Actually it's much healthier to let your hang outside. I loved how they smelled fresh specially in the days without strong sun.

I'm Japanese, but never seen a sneaker dryer or never known even such thing exists! Interesting video :D

I would really like to thank you for showing this video! There are a couple of Japanese bloggers who swear, and get passionately angry (if you do not agree with them) that there are no dryers in Japan! ...which is nonsense! They just are not as common. :) Can't wait for more videos! Great Job!!

Yes, of course I could, but I choose to use the dryer because of the humidity and I tend to wait to the last moment to wash my clothes, so I have no clothes if they don't dry fast enough.

I use a Canon Power Shot SD1100 IS and it's 8.0 megapixels. It's not good for close ups, but the rest of the shots are pretty decent for a point and shoot. The sound is not bad either. It's actually a really old camera and is probably a little outdated, but it still works and has been through a lot with me, so until it dies, I'll keep it around. Oh, and thanks for watching. It's kind of cool to think that people on the other side of the world are seeing my videos. d=(^_^)=b

I do mine in my bathroom. Washer and dryer duo. $100. I hang my clothes inside. "Dryer" uses centrifugal force.

Oh so they do have dryers! So does apartments come with washing machines at all or do you have to buy them? ((Luckily most of apartments are family housing basement suites and came with both, so I am curious when I get there if I have to get one))

A lot of apartments come with washing machines, but not dryers. Everyone hangs their laundry out. It's not really a problem most of the time if the weather is good and you don't hang out your bra and underwear. You should be fine, but I got a killer deal on my apartment rent, so it came unfurnished.

Can you get a drier in the apartment or is it just room for a washer?

Those shoe drying machines are really handy! By the way, you could also just take your wet clothes home and hang them out there right? :)

Yeah I see and 100 yen isn't so expensive, so it's more convenient as well, I guess :D

I like the sneaker drone video but I hate the laundry there I can’t believe you cannot choose your own detergent I have sensitive skin and I have to have special detergent that makes no sense. Number two I’m surprise people don’t use dryers there and I’ve heard they don’t use hot water which is even more crazier with all health-conscious they are I would think they would use hot water to kill germs in there sheets and towels. Also at three dollars a pop not to mention the dryers I think a washer would be a good investment can you rent one
