1:38 I find that German WWII rubber was a lot greyer than modern vehicles as it was cut with cheaper materials to reduce cost and manufacturing time Love your content keep it up!
I like what you did near the end with the pointy chisel, scraper, thing! That was the first time I’ve seen anyone add that touch, and I think it looks great and makes a lot of sense to add.
Those mud and chipping effects on the wheels…👌 I’m also going to paint the bolt heads silver, on my Tamiya Panther A. I think the metallic effect looks sooo metal!
Great video! I am glad to see some new paint brands tried on TH-cam. Also, your assumption on the wheels is correct. I have seen wartime original colour photos where the rear face of the wheel is left in red oxide primer :)
I am new to your channel and finding your content very useful. I wonder if you could tell me what pigments you used to further enhance your mud effects. Looking forward to more how to vids, many thanks.
Well, it depends of your needs. I made the weathering because of my model but there is a lot of people who make only light dusting so the mask are perfects then. :)
I actually used the quick wheel for my Abrams and purchased many more but should I clear coat them after I paint them rubber black had to touch up a lot after using
The most important is to have good primer for the painting. If they are to tight just use sand paper to make the holes bigger a bit. :) No clear coat is needed.
I use AK 180 red primer. And if you ask about reference... well, i don't have any specific. Just what I saw with my own eyes on other surfaces, what I read and common sense. :)
No, no, fajnie to wychodzi. Szczególnie to błoto, którego ani za mało ani za dużo, tak w sam raz, a przyznać muszę, że wiele modeli ma tych śladów zużycia i tego błota po prostu za dużo. Oczywiście to moja opinia. Pozdrawiam serdecznie Ciebie i wszystkich którzy to czytają.
Dzięki. Wiesz, błoto i generalnie to kwestia gustu. :):):)
@@coldemonspl. Masz rację, to kwestia gustu. Dobrze zrobiony weathering świetnie wydobywa detale, model staje się naprawdę plastyczny, czy jak to nazwać, nabiera dodatkowego wymiaru.
What a clumsy ad...! I've bought a similar ruler abour 15 years ago and everything goes well since that time ))) The next step is special paint for drybrush?)))
OutStanding!!! I have a Leopard AVLB, that I'm getting ready to paint the wheels.......By Hand. BUT, after seeing this video, and (actually purchasing 'Quick Wheel' masks for a Different tank build) getting ready to paint those wheels....I Just might get those masks for the Leopard as well!!! AND as an added bonus, showing how to weather the wheels is Truly Remarkable....I especially like the oil stains near the end of the video, VERY Realistic! QUESTION: I see that as you are painting the wheels with the masks, do you.... 1) Paint the wheels with the polycap attached inside the wheel (I am afraid that the paint might do something to that plastic). 2) Do you paint the wheels halves FIRST, before gluing them together with the polycap inside??🤔

I used it from time to time and it is also good to make some scraps on the side shields :)
You definitely have the touch! Excellent work!
thx mate! :)
great video ive learnt lots of tips 😁
Many thx! :)
Nice work on the wheels. Great to see
Thank you very much Steve!
Hi my friend great video some really great techniques used well explained thanks for sharing
Thank you my friend!! :)

:):):) Im glad you like it. Contrast on the models is very important even if it is a bit unreal :)
Great work! This panther already looks very promising and super interesting!)
Thx a lot Сергей! :)
Nice. You make road wheels look fun!!! (we both know better!). Cheers.
Thx a lot mate! :) Wait for tracks :) cheers!
Nice, simple, and to the point. Like the dust effect, not too lite.
Thank you! :)

I saw you make the same on Stug! Thx a lot mate! :)
Awesome work mate, I'll definitely try some of your techniques, once again keep up the great work 💪💪👍
Thx a lot mate! Stay tuned for more! :)
i like the way the wheels fit in the mask
It's very easy, just try it!
The mask is very effective , Happy New Year Lukasz keep the videos rolling in 2022 . Regards Gav.
Thx a lot Gavin! HNY!!!

Thx mate! I used different pigments - AK, VMS, old MIG, Modellers World. :)
Great work, and helpful tutorial. With heavy Weathering and mud effects, I wondering if masking is necessary at all, maybe just a brush
Well, it depends of your needs. I made the weathering because of my model but there is a lot of people who make only light dusting so the mask are perfects then. :)
Man you do Awesome work! Can you do the ibg full interior 7tp? That would be pretty sweet
Thank you Rick! I don't have 7TP in my plans for 2022. But who knows? :)
Dude, I recently found your channel, and I love it. Definitely up there with Uncle Nightshift. Please keep the videos and inspiration coming!
Andrew, thank you very much! I do my best! :)

Perfect.

Good tutorial!
Thx a lot! :)
Back for a refresh as I start detailing the wheels on my famo with 2cm flak gun.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great "how to"! A search for AK interactive red primer returns many different bottles. What is the reference of the color you used?
I use AK 180 red primer. And if you ask about reference... well, i don't have any specific. Just what I saw with my own eyes on other surfaces, what I read and common sense. :)
@@coldemonspl thanks... I meant the reference number of the AK paint color bottle... the AK180.
@@HeirweghB no problem :)
Is there anything special about that pencil besides the magic that you seem to be able to do with it? Is it just a regular, soft-lead pencil?
Yep. Regular, cheap, not funcy stuff :)
Świetna robota
Dziękuję Tomek! :)

Will this mask work for all Takom panthers or just the G?
They are designed for A version.
What mask did you use dude
Quick Mask. Check the quick mask store. :)
