Amazing. I enjoy watching this type of video. I'm now in my 60s but watching the fun fair arrive reminds me of the excitement I used to get when I was a small boy. I grew up in a relatively small village so the only highlights were Christmas and the fair's arrival in June. On a number of occasions I tried to build any number of rides using ice-lolly sticks, but sadly I lacked the engineering knowhow to make my plans a reality. When I was a child I had the ambition to create all those fair ground rides in toy form, so that they could be build and collapsed like the real things, and they would all pack away onto the back of a 'Dinky' lorry designed for such a load. Sadly, I never realised my dream.
Nice to see the fun fair come back to Peterborough. Those trucks are powerful pulling the rides and the people putting the rides up and then down again. Do fantastic job.
