I have a feeling that HIT still wanted to put these in the movie. But I guess they realized the mistake with the Calling All Engines learning segments being put in the movie. Nice Job HIT.
This is just such a great scene for me to watch for sure all because of nostalgia and heck I still have the original DVD as well!! Also, I can think of more differences between both Thomas and Stanley. Thomas has blue wheels, and Stanley has red ones. Thomas has a black plastic funnel, and Stanley has a tall and shiny metal silver funnel. Thomas has a pair of 2 whistles at the front of his cab, and Stanley only has 1 whistle on top of his cab. Thomas has black buffers, and Stanley has either light brown buffers or gold buffers (I can't tell which one exactly). Also, Thomas has both a tank and a wheel arch on the side of him, and Stanley has some other pieces of equipment on the side of him below his name (I'm not so sure what they're called exactly though). Lastly, Thomas has a lamp, 2 black lines sticking straight up, and black rounded metal sheet things at the front of him (again I'm not so sure what they're called exactly but I tried my best to say what they are and where they're located), and Stanley doesn't have any of that on the front of him other than both his face and his buffers.
Lastly, I thought Stanley was silver instead of grey. Wasn't he silver in the movie?? If so, why did Pierce call Stanley grey instead of silver here in the learning segment? Is it because he looks grey here (because he really doesn't)?
Thomas is not a bad engine he’s a sad engine I’m the end Stanley helps Thomas and Thomas helps Stanley they said they were sorry to each other and they had sodor day the end

Can Rosie appear in The Great Discovery?
No
I wished she did. She would have had a good amount of an interest in the movie
