Actually it's a heatless method we do in Egypt from ages .. it's called "dwama" . But it doesn't work for all hair types

@@Little_hijabiif you devide your hair in 2 and just twist it as if you were to do a French braid but only twist it. Let it dry take it down and pull out one strand at a time it should look like a wand curl. I use to very dislike my curls untill I figured that out. Your hair will be full but not scraggly. I do that with braids and twists.

Well, I have to tell you this is an old technique we used when we didn't have flat irons and that was passed on by our moms and aunts. Here in Argentina we call it the TOCCA. The hair looks great and doesn't get damaged but it doesn't last long. If you keep practising you will improve it and get super straight hair. Mine is curlier than yours!

Hi! In Puerto Rico it's called a Dubi😂 If you do it often does it damage your curls? I've never seen anyone use this technique often enough to tell.
@@gracelebron3536 no, it doesn't damage the hair. As soon as you wet it or wash it the curls come up again. That was the bad thing when we went to the disco: as soon as we sweat, we would lose our beautiful shiny straight hair... Lol

You make it look sooooo easy! As a dude with long hair for the first time, this was so difficult for me. It took 45 minutes! My hair was sliding everywhere, loose clumps showing up, bobby pins impossible to hold open... I must have 50 pins in my hair right now.
For most girls who are used to long hair, they eventually figure own way out to neat the hair up with only single instrument or nothing. It's hair over hair stitching and it gets easier. But I can relate to you a lot, I was depending on tons of bobby pins and hair strap when I was 12.
maybe dont have it as wet i actually did this on almost completely dry hair and it was much easier

I use to do this all the time! I have super curly hair, and it would take me hours to straighten! After doing this, I could run my hair through a straightener, and it would look just as good in a quarter of the time. Definitely recommend trying!

Here’s a tip! You are using the Bobbi pins the wrong side! Use the bumpy side down towards the scalp to secure .
she’s so good with giving micah odd jobs to distract him and keep him busy
i feel like this method could work really well with some practice, some gel and flat clips that won't leave dents in your hair! happy birthday Savannah !
I’ve been doing my hair like this for the past 28 years. It’s called a wrap. Put a bit of foaming setting lotion on it before you wrap it will lessen the frizz.

I would put a smoothing cream in beforehand, like tigi beadhead after party, and then divide the top section in two (infront of a 360 mirror) and wrap teh sections into opposite sides of the head. Then secure the whole hair with a scarf, or mesh cap, and take out the bobbi pins.

This method is called the Moroccan Batcha🇲🇦🇲🇦. Our grandmothers used it in the past when there was no❌ iron or electricity. It is really good for my hair👌, and I know it will agree with your hair as well❤, but use it correctly.✅

This is a big thing in Cuban culture. At least it’s a big thing in my family💀 my aunt is like a literal pro and can wrap her hair around in 2 minutes without the bun and without pins. She uses a bandana to hold everything in place:)
Curled hair girls wanna get straight and straight haired girls wanna get curl. It's funny whenever we experience this in salon with the girl next to us wanting the look of our hair and we want the look of her hair. 😁 I'm a straight haired getting here out of curiosity and glad that curly girls have their heatless method to get straight too. Traditonal methods always be looking so good and neat in the process compared to modern heatless methods with tons of tools on the head.

My curls are almost like yours but they’re REALLLLYYY FRIZZYY!!! Also I’m losing a lot of hairs so they’re thin but i have good volume! I just need some advice and routines how to manage my hair 😣
1. ONLY BRUSH IT WHEN ITS WET!
2. Use mousse, and/or leave in conditioner to control frizz, define curls, and to make it soft
3. Dry it with a cotton shirt rather than a towel
4.or if you blow dry it, use a diffuser
5. Use shampoos with no sulfates
6. Use conditioner with no silicones
7. If you are still lacking definition, you can use a wand and add some curls
8. When drying, flip hair upside down, and around slowly and move it while drying for root definition

Then when you take off the bobby pins your hair will be straight. 🥰
