  • Mmusi Maimane, the leader of Build One South Africa (BOSA), discussed his political inspiration and strategy at the BizNews Conference BNC#6 in Hermanus. Drawing parallels with Macron's centrist approach, Maimane emphasised pragmatic solutions over ideological divides. He highlighted BOSA's focus on citizen empowerment, transparency in candidate selection, and grassroots engagement bolstered by a robust online presence. Addressing challenges such as voter intimidation and the need for job creation, he outlined a vision for a post-ANC South Africa, appealing to dignity and shared prosperity. With a strategic organization of over 40,000 activists, Maimane aims to shift the political landscape towards a centrist, values-driven governance model.

He may not have been the right person for the DA last Time, but he has come on a long way and he MUST be in the future leadership of this country, together with his new candidates. I intend voting BOSA nationally and DA provincially (I have been DA for most of the past and they have shown that administratively they are best equipped for day-to-day issues). He is streets ahead of Steenhuisen as a leader. I am white, well educated and 72 yo

I'm educated enough to know that Mmusi Maimane is the ideal candidate. Many of you might think people like him are weak or too soft to run the country. He has integrity and the capacity to lead. The unfortunate thing is that most people won't realise what a treasure is Mmusi. Love the man❤❤❤

Now this is how a President should sound... here's why. PIGI.
Passion, Integrity, Genuine, Invested. South Africa needs a Mandela, a visionary with values and Mmusi clearly is is. I'm an IFP voter usually but Mmusi should be in Pretoria,

I hope you get the earned support from any of us.

Mmusi is a guy I can see leading South Africa maybe 20 years from now. His approach is correct but right now we need major changes in the short term. All the best to him and BOSA.

I think not. Maimane is too soft to do what's needed to sort out SA... We don't need another Ramaphosa again. The next 5 years, we need a Trump type personality and then Maimane.

And that's why we love Mmusi, continuing to chop at the ANC tree may not be the best way to topple it- if we start reframing the discussion towards what happens afterwards, we start winning the minds of those uncertain over what happens next. We need to allow everyone regardless of political position to build their own story for what happens next. Thank you Mmusi

This man would be a fabulous president. He understands the people of this country better than most, certainly better than the DA does. Yet, I feel I have no option than to vote DA in the coming elections as Musi's party is too small to make a difference at this stage, but BOSA will have my vote in 2029 provided that the party grows substantially by then.

The memory of 1994 will kick in shortly before putting the cross. Many will fail to resist the memory of Madiba. The might of ANC is so enormous that others will denounce themselves before the counting finish.

Thirdly there jobs for youth associated with Goos Municipal Services. Lastly strengthen supervision to implement the Above. Youth can supervise the Old and ViceVersa fot the Success of this Country. We need a livin and Strong Supervisions at all Levels. Find the Platform. Use Drones and leasure robots to Attract the Youth
