Every meme review was fine before gen 9 came out, and then soon as gen 9 dropped (and the buildup to it), everything just devolved into "You have an opinion I hate. I'm gonna attack you for it." and "You like Violet over Scarlet? I'm gonna attack you for it." No. Someone needs to step in, get rid of all those bully posts, and set the rules straight that if you're gonna keep making posts like that, punishment will be doled accordingly, getting more harsher if said offenders repeat it over and over. I want to see FUNNY memes again, not derogatory memes.

I think the reason everyone’s calling Geeta the “worst champion” is because her team has the potential to be challenging and because of the order they’re sent out in, they’re not used properly. Mainly Glimmora and Kingambit.

But here's a great solution, make her Kingambit a steel terra type and have Poppy be rock. It really doesn't affect it that much other than Nemona having lycanroc and Arven having Garganacl. Because of those two it might be hard to make a non repetitive team for Poppy, but it's not impossible. Feels like Glimmora just has no use on Geeta's team because it's entire point is to be a hazard setter.

I love that comparison between Nemona and Aomine. And it works so well because they both loose in the end after using their full strength and are almost happy in a sad way
I actually really like Meowscarada's design, despite not being into current Pokemon gens/metas anymore. I have some reservations about them, again, going with a quadruped that becomes a biped, but this one was done way better than Delphox. Looks almost like a final form anime protagonist/villain (could go either way) that's dangerous af.

Nemona actually growing attached enough bcuz she sees your potential to push her to be her best is a decent plot line. Most dont think she is a champion level trainer who could wipe the floor with us at every turn like we do to youngster tomas who stands guard on the route we skipped and now came to clear it with lvl 70+ chanpion pokemon. As for the acadamy names idk now naranja acadamy vs uva acadamy. I thought it was gonna be violetta acadamy but i understand fruit based was the theme.
Blood oranges and grapes showed up in the first trailer, as well as the school emblems. It sounds boring to anyone who understands basic Spanish, but they wanted the names to sound like they'd fit in. They likely designed the academy logos first, then looked at an English to Spanish or Japanese to Spanish dictionary to look up what orange and grape are. I can't remember if the academy names are different in Japanese or not.

Mighty, or however it's spelled, is based off of Castform because that's Mikey's fave Pokemon. It does not evolve, only change form from specific circumstances and can then use those forms later at will. The "base form" is simply its default. I believe that Mikey has a video explaining what exactly a "Mighty" is.
It's bc there's a "Hail Form" Mytey that he sold a while back. Since it's based on Castform and he has that catchphrase and all. I know you could see it in the background of his videos sometimes.

When I think of Nemona, I think of Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach. Even as a child he beat everyone around him so he forcefully restrained himself so he could enjoy battling more to the point he would litteraly black out for a short amount of time 😂 Geeta said, Nemona was even holding back in their fight. So I start calling her Kenpachi Nemona now. And this connection was just made because of the new TYBW Anime.

The water starter pattern is mostly about war and violence. Feraligator is feral and it french name had the french word for killer. Never really sure about Primarina, but I think is was like the person that boost the motal of the soldiers or something.
Volkner is pretty similar to Nemona if you think about it. Nobody can defeat them, so they become detached from everyone. But then you come along and they want to actually battle you.

15:02 gita is talked about by the characters as competent but other champions have a giant room dedicated to them and she has the roof of a corporate building. She used 3 Pokémon that have a lot of weaknesses and weak stats (veluza, avalug, gogoat), her final Pokémon is the one with the set up ability and the kingambit is strong in the late game but she brought it out in the middle. I still like the fact we had gyms and a Pokémon league but I feel the Pokémon league is given a very low budget. Galar has battles in a stadium full of people while Paldea has gym badges in a park
Very happy about the Kuroko’s basketball reference when comparing nemona to Aomine. I noticed that initially too but I loved how nemona had a different view on things by choosing to be optimistic and wait for another competitor to come along than become detached from their specialty like Aomine had
i think that's mostly because of her VERY addictive personality: as soon as she starting getting into battling,she started getting so hardcore into it that she just became a champion without even realizing it happened but no one wanted to battle her so she spent a lot of time waiting for your freshmen ass to roll up so that she could finally have someone willing to get on her level. she's as addicted as she is lonely.
Larry should be an honorary member of team sky since he uses both Normal and Flying types, Flying being technically his stronger team since it’s his E4 team, and his ace for his normal team is a Staraptor. Besides, having Larry on the team would be really great for getting new members
The main reason people dislike Geeta so much was just her general party, eg having a pure grass type which isn't even from the new gen, I definitely feel she could've had a better team and definitely would've been nicer if she were harder to battle but I wouldn't hate her as much as a lot of people do, I'm not a fan but I appreciate how she contributes to the story.

One of the reasons people say Koraidon and Miraidon don't feel Legendary is because there are multiple of them, but besides the actual Gods there are multiple of every Legendary Pokemon. Like Ho-Oh just revived some Pokemon that already existed but recently died and they became Legendries. Regigas literally creates Regis. The Legendary Birds have regional variants. Being one of a kind is not a sign of a Legendary Pokemon. Edit: Also the Geeta hate mainly comes down to her team order. Her Ace is a Glimmora, which is a hazard setter, something you lead with and she has a Kingambit that would be the perfect Ace but she never sends it out last. Considering she is called the Top Champion her having such a bad team order is hard to forgive. Its also especially bad coming off of SWSH since the excuse that Glimmora is her Ace because it was her first Pokemon/Partner doesn't hold up. Hop's partner Dubwool is on the weaker half of his team with his starter, G Max Corviknight and Legendary all taking the Ace position at different points and Marnie's partner is her Morpeko but her Ace is her G Max Grimmsnarl.
This isn't enough to make me hate her, but yeah, it seriously baffles me that she doesn't use her Glimmora first and her Kingambit last. It's funny to think that part of the reason I decided to have a poison type on my team was to specifically counter Toxic Debris, only to later realize that it literally would never matter. XD Still don't think she's a worse champion than Diantha tho.

I actually really like Meowscarada's design, despite not being into current Pokemon gens/metas anymore. I have some reservations about them, again, going with a quadruped that becomes a biped, but this one was done way better than Delphox. Looks almost like a final form anime protagonist/villain (could go either way) that's dangerous af.
They can also act pretty cute during picnics in the games.

@@itsmxtwist No doubt the best starter. I had so much fun with Meowscarada on Violet. I went from thinking Skeledirge was okay to outright despising it during a playthrough. I was about half done and just deleted it to start over with Quaxly lmao. Quaxly is meh, but better than Fuecoco

Nemona actually growing attached enough bcuz she sees your potential to push her to be her best is a decent plot line. Most dont think she is a champion level trainer who could wipe the floor with us at every turn like we do to youngster tomas who stands guard on the route we skipped and now came to clear it with lvl 70+ chanpion pokemon.
As for the acadamy names idk now naranja acadamy vs uva acadamy. I thought it was gonna be violetta acadamy but i understand fruit based was the theme.
Blood oranges and grapes showed up in the first trailer, as well as the school emblems. It sounds boring to anyone who understands basic Spanish, but they wanted the names to sound like they'd fit in. They likely designed the academy logos first, then looked at an English to Spanish or Japanese to Spanish dictionary to look up what orange and grape are. I can't remember if the academy names are different in Japanese or not.

Mighty, or however it's spelled, is based off of Castform because that's Mikey's fave Pokemon. It does not evolve, only change form from specific circumstances and can then use those forms later at will. The "base form" is simply its default. I believe that Mikey has a video explaining what exactly a "Mighty" is.
It's bc there's a "Hail Form" Mytey that he sold a while back. Since it's based on Castform and he has that catchphrase and all. I know you could see it in the background of his videos sometimes.

The water starter pattern is mostly about war and violence. Feraligator is feral and it french name had the french word for killer. Never really sure about Primarina, but I think is was like the person that boost the motal of the soldiers or something.
Volkner is pretty similar to Nemona if you think about it. Nobody can defeat them, so they become detached from everyone. But then you come along and they want to actually battle you.

She used 3 Pokémon that have a lot of weaknesses and weak stats (veluza, avalug, gogoat), her final Pokémon is the one with the set up ability and the kingambit is strong in the late game but she brought it out in the middle. I still like the fact we had gyms and a Pokémon league but I feel the Pokémon league is given a very low budget. Galar has battles in a stadium full of people while Paldea has gym badges in a park
Very happy about the Kuroko’s basketball reference when comparing nemona to Aomine. I noticed that initially too but I loved how nemona had a different view on things by choosing to be optimistic and wait for another competitor to come along than become detached from their specialty like Aomine had

i think that's mostly because of her VERY addictive personality: as soon as she starting getting into battling,she started getting so hardcore into it that she just became a champion without even realizing it happened but no one wanted to battle her so she spent a lot of time waiting for your freshmen ass to roll up so that she could finally have someone willing to get on her level. she's as addicted as she is lonely.

The main reason people dislike Geeta so much was just her general party, eg having a pure grass type which isn't even from the new gen, I definitely feel she could've had a better team and definitely would've been nicer if she were harder to battle but I wouldn't hate her as much as a lot of people do, I'm not a fan but I appreciate how she contributes to the story.

The pattern isn’t that the fire starters are based on the “Chinese zodiac”, oh no, their based on zodiacs from various cultures. That’s why Fuecoco’s a crocodile because it’s part of the Aztec zodiac. Same thing for many of the fire starts:
1.) Cyndaquil is part of the Australian Zodiac (The Echidna)
2.) Fennakin is part of the Celtic Zodiac (The Fox)

The grass starters are quite simple they’re all based on extinct mega fauna. And here’s the list:
1.) Vinesaur (Beelzebufo): An extinct frog belonging to the same family of amphibians as the Pacman Frog.
2.) Meganium (Sauropods): Long necked, herbivorous dinosaurs
3.) Sceptile (Dromeosaurs): Small, agile predatory dinosaurs that are known for their large claw (Ex: Deinonychus). That’s why it has the move Leaf Blade.
4.) Torterra (Meiolania): Extinct species of stem-turtle that was native to Australia; they were terrestrial.
5.) Serperior (Titanoboa): Was the worlds largest (and now extinct) snake.
6.) Chesnaught (Glyptodon): An extinct relative of the armadillo; it was the size of a small car.
7.) Decidueye (The Stilt-Owl): Species of owl known for their long-legs that were native to the Hawaiian islands, but went extinct when birds of prey such as hawks were introduced. That’s also why Decidueye is a ghost-type because these owls went extinct so recently.

Also I loved the switch up you did for the Legendary meme. One of the reasons people say Koraidon and Miraidon don't feel Legendary is because there are multiple of them, but besides the actual Gods there are multiple of every Legendary Pokemon. Like Ho-Oh just revived some Pokemon that already existed but recently died and they became Legendries. Regigas literally creates Regis. The Legendary Birds have regional variants. Being one of a kind is not a sign of a Legendary Pokemon.
Edit: Also the Geeta hate mainly comes down to her team order. Her Ace is a Glimmora, which is a hazard setter, something you lead with and she has a Kingambit that would be the perfect Ace but she never sends it out last. Considering she is called the Top Champion her having such a bad team order is hard to forgive. Its also especially bad coming off of SWSH since the excuse that Glimmora is her Ace because it was her first Pokemon/Partner doesn't hold up. Hop's partner Dubwool is on the weaker half of his team with his starter, G Max Corviknight and Legendary all taking the Ace position at different points and Marnie's partner is her Morpeko but her Ace is her G Max Grimmsnarl.
This isn't enough to make me hate her, but yeah, it seriously baffles me that she doesn't use her Glimmora first and her Kingambit last. It's funny to think that part of the reason I decided to have a poison type on my team was to specifically counter Toxic Debris, only to later realize that it literally would never matter. XD Still don't think she's a worse champion than Diantha tho.
Geeta was a missed opportunity for sure. Still funny that she swept Wolfie on the first match up
