One thing I know is that it might take some people a year to get 4000 watch hours and it may take a month for other people to get same 4000 watch hours. It really depends on one's strategy and other unknown factors.
My channel is a Sims 4 channel and I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job with my content standing out from the pack so to speak. There's challenges in the community and it's wise to make videos on challenges and I do have one series based on a challenge but I also have two other series that are my own thing. I also don't do the popular style of build videos, I make them my own. However I don't capitalize on new packs when they come out because my video making turnaround time isn't fast enough to ride the community high on the topic. So I just stick to making my own things 😄
I enjoyed the ideas presented in this video. I have largely avoided "latest news" topics because the shelf-life and relevance of those videos are too short. Evergreen or "good for at least a couple years" videos is what I prefer. Although, I got my 4K hours well over a year ago, I am pivoting and focusing more on views and watch hours, then worrying about subscribers because my analytics show what generates revenues. A lot of my viewers are from non-subscribers and I can live with that.
Hey there. Thanks for the cool video. I’m a Danish language channel. Hit the 4000 but now trying to keep momentum and find new ways to stand out. Would be great to bounce more ideas with you :)
Geez, and here i was thinking that the watch hours had gone down to 2000. Lol I’ve got a long way to go as i haven’t even hit 500 in 3 months. I feel like my “fit fab and frugal over 50” videos get lost in the abyss whether I do shorts or longs and make them as entertaining as possible with inviting thumbnails. I’ve tried trending style videos (have you heard of Barbie?), but i just think there’s too much competition and it’s difficult to stand out. As with most viral success, it appears mostly luck is key.
The TH-cam journey is extremely fun and complicated! There is so much to improve on but I'm not sure where to start. Let's keep getting our reps in and get better each time!
I just have to up my game and be consistent then... So hard to get back up especially when your studio & recording gear got stolen last year... Thank you for the video, I will try to adapt it as much as I can...
Thanks for the wonderful information. I guess my question is, in the example given of 30 days of using Apple Vision Pro and then posting it after the 30 days, wouldn't you miss the big push about the Vision Pro. I do agree that it is different, but are people going to still be looking for that 30 days later? I am in the Crypto Passive Income niche and really enjoy watching your videos!
I would define my youtube journey as more. It took me close to a year to get 4000 hours and 1000 subs and I though I made it.. Nope I wanted more. The second year I was able to get 100k subs and a silver play button.. I made it right? Nope I wanted more.. Now my goal is a million subs and 100k views on every video.. I have a long way to go. The struggle will never end. Keep up the hard work my friends.

Ohhhh my channel is now on adventure while my both legs are amputated 8 yrs ago... what should I do to stand out in this kind of trend jacking strategy Sir... I really appreciate your tips and advice...😊
We have been on youtube since 2008, and have a few videos with 100k+ views, but the channel was demonetized a few years ago for being inactive. Reaching 4000 watch hours to requalify has been so difficult. We haven't even hit 3000 yet, so frequency is increasing in a last ditch effort to get this ball rolling again. 😂
Ahh I love the comments on this thread. It’s so difficult and I’m finding it hard to find other regular posting channels in my niche! Is that because people don’t want to watch videos like mine or because I’m not looking in the right places!?
Just started today with my first video. Definitely excited but not expecting much until I get more uploads under my belt. My plan is to upload two long form videos a week.
I have 5 TH-cam channels none really grew until I made my first video really doing what I love which is making music. My first ever video on the channel did amazing and it encouraged me to keep going. So with consistency and putting the correct hashtags now after 1year I got the 1000 subscribers. I've tried for yearrrrrs with the other pages lol. It really is about finding your niche and being consistent. 😊
Just found you tonight: my videis are around 1/18 scake action figures. Its a "dead line" meaning the figures my son (and me by proximity) started collecting/fixing are no longer being produced. I've become way involved in the area of fixing and customizing these figures (primarily for my son...but might turn into more of a business?). I like showing off and talking about the figuulres/characters and highlighting potential customization thiughts on them.
My niche: Disney / Orlando lifestyle vlogs and information. Subs has been easy by finding the right shorts. That doesnt count toward watch hours though. Need to find long content that hits big
@@intuitivediane yeah but that’s like to start earning money from subscribers I believe. You still have to hit the 4000 to monetize from TH-cam. But I’m a lot closer to the 3000 so I’ll take what I can get!

I have videos about Natural Disasters, Caught on cameras and historical events. In 2 weeks i have now 58 subs. I get the most subs with my shorts, but my views stops at 3.4k max idk why. What can i do else?
Such a great video - I didn't realise but I actually used this method for my first video 4 months ago. I released a video on the various types of investment platforms offerings ISAs (UK version of the Roth IRA) a few weeks before the new tax year in the UK and to date it's been the most popular video on my channel. Definitely a technique I will try to replicate. Thanks for the awesome tips 🥳
