You have totally given me so much confidence to try hairdressing again. I hope you never stop making these tutorials.
I love this! I am just beginning to transition to my natural gray color but would love to have this technique done on my hair in the future.
This looks great. Very modern and definitely makes her look young and fresh!!!
2 yrs ago I decided to embrace my gray. My lady did the same thing for my hair the lowlights and highlights to blend in the grey. She re did my hair every 6-8 wks. She did a terrific job like you did on this lovely lady. I haven’t seen her in a year because she moved but I still get compliments on my hair. Great video, thank you!
I do hair and love to keep my gray haired clients inspired when they want to transition .This is really pretty thanks for showing us the fun! Have a good day.
This is excellent...exactly what i been telling my hairdresser 3 of them & they have no-idea what i want ...I told them i want to blend my gray growth with my salt & pepper hair ...thank you for this
Your channel has literally changed my hair game! Thanks a million!!
That's beautiful. I just grew mine out and cut it into a pixie cut when my path was white and broad enough
Thanks for this video Jamie. I have let me grey hair grow in and intend to keep it. Nice to see a technique that helps it look fresh
Wow wow wow!!! That is the most beautiful head of hair I’ve ever seen!!!!! Great job💜💜💜
Very pretty! ... and holy moly you’ve got a lot of different brands of color in your stock! I’d love to see a vid on what you use and why🙌🏼🙏🏼💕
Thank you for your suggestion Virginia! I'll keep that in mind for a future video!
Virginia Mathews Thanks for the Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Dinanlinson Bright Colour Approach (should be on google have a look)? It is a good exclusive guide for learning how to get your natural hair color back minus the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my work buddy after many years got cool results with it.
I bet your clients love to see you! Your talent and your personality are amazing! Subscribed a couple days ago, and am exploring your videos. Great Job here!
That looks gorgeous on her! I always look forward to your videos, I learn so much from you! Much love from a fellow hairstylist!❤
Finally someone helping someone go Grey and look beautiful doing it!!! Love it!
Love love your videos!! You make it so simple to follow! 💛💛💛
Love this so much ✨💗Hair extensions can boost your self esteem by giving you added length and volume. My Zalas do this for me, absoltly obsessed with that brand!!
I love this - I'm transitioning now. Giving me some great ideas
Great job - Absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!
It turned out beautiful! Great job! Blessings!
Fantastic how you transformed her hair with the grey made my mind up to get mins done fantastic good on you and client
This is very nice. Something for me to keep in mind should I decide not to cover all my silver. I think I would like like something more chunkier for myself. My temples grow out long and silver like Lily Munster. I cover it still though. Love to see more gray hair ladies or gents.
Im so happy for this video, almost every video about this topic is on blonde hair , i have brown hair and im going natural but had no idea how to blend my hair, Thank you, thank you!!!
@@JamieDana it really helped im having a consultation next week !! im going natural at 43!
If you use permanent, how do you deal with the grey regrowth? I mean you can't cover the same hairs each time the client comes to get her hair done..I want to do this but I don't understand how would the stylist deal with that? Thanks for any suggestions
It was mesmerizing to watch you work. You are a talent. Your narrating was excellent. Results were beautiful. Thanks for sharing
This was immensely helpful! Thank you so much. You are so kind. May God Bless you with abundance and prosperity for the impact you make on so many of us! :)
you are amazing and make me feel so much more confident working w color! thank you 🖤
It looks great! Thank you so much for sharing all these great videos!
Love, love, love this tutorial!!!
I'm going have to do this . Thanks for sharing the details . Really appreciate .
I don't know how I missed this! I've been following u awhile I guess I'm off my game 😫 love love this 😍
YES YES YES!!! it is so awesome to learn more than blonde hair!! i love blonde but i also love that you are teaching more of other hair!!! shows how well rounded of a stylist you are and it is much appreciated from this cosmo student over here in texas!! :)
Something I used to do many many years ago, after my apprenticeship.. I became a mobile hairdresser, and often converted many into having a fine lolight, so they could relax with the regrowth. Loved your work though, very enjoyable I watch, and to see such professionalism. Brilliant.. 😊
@@JamieDana always enjoy seeing a job done really well.. 😊 Many can't be bothered to take the time, and want a quick fix, or faster way of doing things, but in my opinion, if it is going to be done properly, especially this type of colouring, there are no short cuts! 👍
That’s what I’m doing with my grey hair ...low lights. I really prefer that on me versus the all grey look. Each person is different in terms of how they accomodate all grey hair. A lot of it has to do with skin tone, facial structure, makeup and the color of the grey. My natural grey looks mousy and dull without the lowlights. Thanks for the video!
Love the video!!
I am a 69 year old black female. I don't like my hair all gray, so boring. Want to add highlights or also lowlights. Love what you did to her hair. I wear my hair short and spikey. Just hope I can find a salon to work with me. Thank you again.❤
I love this. It’s beautiful.
I love the way you started the foil. It’s different for me, to work down the head and put the foils in from behind. I wish I could see how you complete the Mohegan ... great video!!
Love what you did with her hair! Done listen to the hateful comments. You really know your stuff and do a job!
Super educative video clip .. thanks for sharing it does look amazing ! ❤️🇨🇦
I did the transition, but I wanted some dimension and also the complete white let the scalp appear, so I completely loved the result!
Wow so beautiful and I love your precision on the foils and color work superb ❤
It's mesmerizing to watch you! You are amazing to know the right color, etc. etc., also, I agree about the music, it's hard for people with hearing impaired and hearing aids to hear people talking and playing background music as well.
I've actually made changes to my most recent uploads about the music in the background. Thanks for the feedback!
Wow!! That looks great!!
Awesome technique n color 👍
I'm slowly growing my grays n i really like that color ☺🌈
Wow! Just beautiful!
The background music makes it hard to hear what you're saying. Love your work.
I loved it! Thank you for sharing this. Now I need a grey client to let me play! 😉
This is beautiful!
Gosh you are skilled. Gorgeous results and suits your client's ash toned colouring so well.
Why don’t more hair stylists know this method!! Every time I ask for help with growing out my grays they tell me I just have to decide to commit to having ugly color for a while!! Ugg!!
So glad I stumbled onto your channel 💥
What do you recommend to do for a woman who's hair really dark on the ends to the top of head in the back but the front, top and sides are solid white ? There is no salt pepper mixed it just looks like my head was white and I laid down back side in black paint. 😢
Awesome! I grew out my gray hair for 7 months but it was such a bad grow out cold turkey so I dyed it back to my very dark brown. I’m now thinking of starting to fill in my out growth with low lights instead of full color. Do you think that would work? I loved my gray hair it was just so drastic and the ends we’re getting very orange! Thank you for the great video! You did an amazing job!
I am not going to lie the background music is distracting. Other than that, a good tutorial video.
Great Video! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you tried - Millawdon Independent Decision Trick (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good exclusive product for learning how to get rid pf your gray hair minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my BF after many years got amazing results with it.
@@JamieDana That would be great. I'm a musician, and sensitive to sound mixing. If you want to use musìc, make sure it's sensual and low, so that it doesn't compete with your
voice. Too edgy otherwise.
fantastic job .i love the way your are working.how to add volume to my grey hair with darks highslights .bravo again.hugs from Belgrade Serbia Europe
This is what I need! Thanks!
Love it, my hair looks naturally like that but I have a big chunk of white in one side, I definitely will try low lights only on that side
That’s beautiful.❤️
You’re the color master I’ve been looking for! I want to transition slowly to grey. I know nothing about hair coloring but I’ve tried to ask colirists how to look nice w/o looking old lady grey. It has cost a fortune; and I’ve got nothing. The supposedly best colorists, I feel, dont know what to do. Wish I could find you! This lady is beautiful. What I am wanting to do if I can find right colorist!
Love this video and your technique.
Nice! This is something I would like. Thank You!!
Love the look and your vids thankyou! Also where did you get your apron?
Love this and I waiting a couple more years to go grey, so I hope my hairdresser can do something like this as going grey with fine hair makes me look bald.
That looks great!
I wish I would have known how much warmth I was going to pull when I got highlights to blend my gray hair. It's really wonderful that you accentuate what people naturally have. Is it possible to re-highlight my highlights and then tone them gray?
Terrific job! Very impressive and inspiring. Thank you 😊
GOOD JOB, LOVE IT
It would be nice to see the before and after at the end of your video. I’m impressed with your technique and am sending this to my stylist to see if she can do this for my hair as I’m on the going grey journey. Thanks for posting!
Looks great much more depth to the whole look
I loved it!!
Great video! Gorgeous color! Would you mind showing the brand of foils you’re using here?
I love this!! I have gray hair and been looking for this!! How would it fade-away?
Beautiful technique 👍😘😘
Love, Love, Love!! Did you end up toning the rest of the light hair with the Shades formula, or left it out?
Thx for sharing!! ❤️
Mika Anderson I didn't because when I rinsed the color, the bleed off toned it pretty well do I didn't need to. But sometimes I do it just depends if it needs it or not 😊
I Love the way you teach and how you section the hair! My client has all gray in the front salt and pepper in the back she wants a change what do you recommend!!
Hi Jamie Dana, like it.. The top part of my hair, will start growing out the grey hair and well I would like then my hair dyed all gray so I wont worried what will start to grow out my grey hair anymore..... 😆Thanks for sharing it to us,. I enjoyed the video..
This is cool, I love my gray but it’s kinda flat, color-wise. Thank you for this cool video, I appreciate seeing the results.
Her Hair looks beautiful.
It’s so pretty. Wow
This particular color concept looks great on this client! Seems like a brilliant way to add dimension. The truth is "some" people look okay to possibly great with gray hair and some woman really look really unattractive/unappealing with their gray out. People won't tell you the truth, so you have to critically assess yourself. Yes, it may be easier, less bother and hassle, less expensive, but realize people size up a person by their appearance (hair) immediately, for better or worse. Silver usually looks good, but not all hair grays to silver.
Trish, so true! I have finely textured hair which is naturally med/dark ash brown. I have played with the color since I was 16 just because I prefer more diminsion. I now have grey/white at temple/hairline which only makes my hairline look like it's receding! Nobody needs that! 😂 Most going grey women I've seeen on YT went grey really early, so I can understand getting sick of covering it. Many also seem to have thicker hair than I have. I get high & low lights & get the roots colored in between -- prefer the look on me. Costly but I'll continue as long as I can afford it!
I agree that no one will be truthful on these gray hair grow out reveal videos. All the comments on every single video is about how great they look and blah blah blah. It reminds me of when Rachel convinced that girl to go bald on Friends and told her great she looked like that LOL. I also agree how some women can look stunning with their grey hair and some women just look, washed out, tired and much older with their gray hair. But you'll never see anyone be truthful in the comment section if they do look old and tired with their grey hair.
Fantastic !!!!!!
Love your videos 🤩🤩
I love it. Beautiful
Would love to see more lowlight toning in various gray levels. Like an all white client needing lowlights .great videos !
Thanks for letting me know!
