Finally completed this 19-hour tutorial (took me an entire week)! The explanation was excellent - simple and easy to follow. I appreciated how the instructor didn't use overly complex words, and when he encountered issues while writing code, he demonstrated how to resolve them. This made the learning process much easier because, in most tutorials, the instructors just write the code and it works perfectly. As I followed along, I wrote my own code, got stuck at times, went back to see what went wrong, and fixed the issues. At one point, I considered quitting because I struggled with responsive CSS, but after carefully reviewing my code, I was able to resolve the problems. Now, I've completed the tutorial! 😁 Thank you for this great resource.

Yes, absolutely. But depending on what company you end up working for, your requirements might differ. Start building a portfolio with some web project of yours as soon as you can (once you’re comfortable enough with vanilla js, css, and html), make it unique with features that will stand out. Meanwhile dig into data structures and algorithms (and other libraries/frameworks of your choice). Be less theoretical and more practical, don’t poison yourself with endless courses and you’ll be good to go. When applying for positions, don’t be afraid if you don’t know something. Some HR workers won’t even be technical during the interview, some might. If you won’t be able to respond to the issue, which will result in rejection, just take a note on what you’ve missed, learn that topic, and apply again. Keep doing that and it should get you on board.
Absolutely! Create some high quality projects and publish them online (e.g. on GitHub). That should go a long way in helping you get your first job as a developer. Apply to jobs at startups, they are more open to hiring self-taught developers.

I can give you some advice. When I started working out at the gym, I realized I will quit unless I come up with a strategy. So, instead of going all in for 1 hour every day like everyone tells you to do, I did only 20 mins. So, I built a habit of going to the gym 5 days a week for 20 mins. Soon, I wanted to stay a few mins later so I did 30 minutes. Over a period of 8 months I built it to 45 mins. That was the perfect spot for me. Maybe use that strategy. Start with 15 mins of studying, no more and slowly as you build the habit maybe do 20 mins then 25 mins and so on. What's the rush? The point is you don't have to go all in or all out. You can find a way to build this habit in a way that works for you. Also, think about your environment. And lastly, community. Environment means, clean your room, clean your laptop, make it look brand new etc. and community is find 3-5 people (no more) that you can study with if possible :)
Does anyone have a solution for this problem that I have added two SVGs in my web page and the problem is that both the SVGs appear within the same parent element, even though I've defined separate parents.

The dark theme is definitely easier on the eyes while working, but it makes code hard to read in a video. 🙂
