The rich man was arrogant until the bitter end, summoning Abraham as he would a mere servant in his household to carry out orders. Where Abraham says that even if Samuel returned from the dead they would not believe him is a foreshadowing of the Savior who did return from the dead but as we clearly see all around us in this world, nobody believes in him, still.
I couldn't finish watching your video--I wanted to but I have a condition that makes it hard to look at pictures that keep changing and popping in and out. I just thought I would let you know that people like me exist in case you would like to make something that accommodates people with epilepsy
THIS IS NOT A PARABLE!!!! SHOW ME ONE SCRIPTURE WHERE IT SAYS THAT THIS IS A PARABLE!!! Whenever Jesus spake in parables,HE NEVER MENTIONED ANY NAMES!!!!!!
*The Rich Man and Lazarus isn't about hell.* Instead, this parable* is about how Jews and Gentiles would be treated in the gospel age^, when the tables would be turned:** Rich Man -- is never directly accused of a sin (only of being wealthy)^^ Lazarus -- is never described as righteous (only of being a beggar)* * * Purple -- indicates royalty -- "And you shall be to me a royal priesthood ..." (Exodus 19:6) Fine linen -- was for Jewish priests (Exodus 28:39) Abraham -- why is he in this parable at all? Because it specifically concerns Judaism. Father Abraham -- described as "Father" Flame -- the flame is singular -- not plural -- so it's not about hell Five brothers -- Judah's 5 _full-blooded_ brothers were Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Issachar & Zebulun (Genesis 35:23) Moses & prophets -- The Jewish people had Moses and the prophets Not convinced by one rising from the dead -- a prophecy of Christ's pending resurrection, which his Jewish audience would soon learn about but not heed (for the most part) * It follows the parables of the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, the Prodigal Son and the Unjust Steward, strongly suggesting that it, too, is a parable. So does one drop of water being able to help in this situation. ^ In the gospel age, Israel is partially hardened by God (Romans 11:25), while Gentiles are included in the church. ** This doesn't _excuse_ centuries of antisemitism, right up through the present time. ^^ The Rich Man's material wealth represents his belonging to the chosen people, and having the written revelation of God (Hebrew scriptures). * * * *"Lazarus" is the Greek name of "Eliezer," Abraham's Gentile servant (Genesis 15:2).* (For background, google "Lazarus Eliezer" and read the Harvest Herald article.) Here, Lazarus represents Gentiles who were beggars in the sense that they were lacking knowledge of God, due to God's chosen people not having shared it with them. Consider the unjust steward in the preceding parable, and Jesus overturning tables at the temple.

Either you believe every word in the Bible is truth or you don't I believe every word is absolute truth.
Was this a 'PARABLE'? Or REAL story. The Bible says " There was a man" NOT the usual "and HE told them a parable" Methinks it's not a parable. Tks
