Yes but nobody had put one in a guitar.
Maybe some of the old archtops but I've never seen it.
I think I'm gonna try both a more traditional sound post, a threaded bolt design and a spring loaded one like this.

Technically there should be no sound absorber or rather shock absorber spring like thing to transfer the vibration of the soundboard to the back. Guitar has bracing to hold the guitar soundboard, a violin has a soundpost cause there are no bracing inside to support the bridge.
In a typical acoustic guitar the strings are embeded i.e the string pull the soundboard out when tuned. In a violin or F cut hole guitar the strings press on to the soundboard. So this should work on a F cut hole guitars without bracing. The violin is the same case as it has a soundpost to support the pressure of the bridge, because of the strings pressing on it attached to the tail piece.
Spruce top and Mahogany is my favorite wood. Mainly with Koa sides.

This will surely absorb the vibrations of the sound board (the top). The rest of the guitar should not absorb any of the soundboards vibration. This "Sound Pillar" will be expected to take half of the volume and tone away from your guitar. **THIS CAN oNLY MAKE YOUR GUITAR SOUND WORSE! ** Thats why they dont put bracing in from the top to the bottom. Please dont try it? It also looks like it permanently damages the inside of the guitar with its sharp points to dig into the wood so it doesnt
Several luthier actually said this is a great idea and supports it. They did quite bit of research on this.
So if it's really that bad, wonder why did they launch this then?
I wouldn't do it, but it's similar to the old Bridge Doctor which actually does increase volume. Violins and other stringed instruments use a sound post. That said, it most likely conflicts with the bracing and bridge structure of most guitars. Might be a good option on a cheap guitar, but i wouldn't put one in my Martin.

I believe this tools logic arrived from a violin because violin has that thing which connects both the top and bottom of it to transfer vibration or something, I'm not sure.

Inside violin/celo/// they don't put any size of this kind of stuff somewhere randomly...
Guitars don't have the same structures compared to violins and others, also most guitars don't have floating bridge
Maybe you need a tabletop made from rubber and carboard, it will absorb the vibration well...buy a solidbody with amp, or make music on computer!

Gusto ko yung walnut sounds like compressed. Pero tingin ko useless ito kapag my pickup and effects ang acoustic.
Maganda ito kapag yung recording naka-mic kasi nahuhuli yung resonance kaya naririnig ang difference. Pero kapag may preamp na, wala na rin masyado effect yan kasi more on sa preamp sound at speakers na yan mostly
