Some good value mics there. The XDM is £70 in the UK. The XCM50 is £40 (I know you didn’t test that). Wave3 usually under £100. Although I’ve personally found unify a bit buggy and prefer wave link.
Excellent video, Mr. Newman! I think Rode XDM-100 is the best of all three gaming microphones. In fact, I'd go as far as saying it's the best USB only microphone for content creation & podcast. As for being heavy, that's why I think that microphone & Neewer LP boom arm is the best combination.
Totally agree! The Ride XDM-100 is the first USB microphone that gets me excited to use, and the only USB only mic that will be in my regular lineup! The unify software to me seems like the easiest to figure out for Newmans like me for mixing apps
@@levelupwithmikenewman When it comes to the Unify software app for Rode, it's going to take time for me to get used to it. It seems that Rode PSA1+ and Newer LP boom arm are the only ones that can handle Rode XDM-100. Beacn mic sounds artificial & weird to me. Plus, their software app is more complicated than Rode Unify. Do you have a schedule for which microphones you use?
@@RetroBigCat75no, I just keep about 8 mics on a shelf by my desk with my favorite mics, and I just a pull a mic from it when opening a video or going live 👍🏻
Yes they are. amzn.to/3PsyBWC this is the e exact one. Loved it so much I bought a second one to replace the Joby boom arm I used in this video . amzn.to/3Py9dyR
I’m way behind you in dialing it in. Mine sat in the box forever before I got to this video. Just using it in its default settings for now and I actually love it that way😎
Great reviews. The xdm-100 wow
