Great info, especially the part about not worrying if you need to take several tries to get it right. I often see folks at the ramp worried about "looking like a pro" or concerned about taking too much time. That's when injuries happen. The best thing to remember is, we've all had those days where docking doesn't go as planned. Take your time, don't worry about what other boaters think or say, and you'll get to the dock safe. Thanks for the videos! I really enjoy the channel!
Wifey drops our jetski off trailer and puts it back on trailer while everyone else kook’n it at haulover ramp lol, pulls me with tow rope while I spearfish checking the reef and screams at boats coming close to our dive flag. Great vid y’all we enjoyed it🤙🏻🇺🇸
Clay, awesome pointers on lower the motor and the jack plate. I am going to try that out. would love to see a video of how you tie your boat for overnight - regarding the tides and what if any slack should be on your line. Keep it up.
The over head shots are awesome visuals! Love that you keep it real and mention that docking isn’t always a walk in the park. A couple that can dock together and stay together….is solid! Hahah. Keep the videos coming🎉
Great job as usual by both you and Stephanie! One of the many things I love about you two is that you put out both amazingly entertaining videos and instructional videos on boating, fishing and cooking as well! I am 74 now and been a fanatic boater for 65 of those years and it still amazes me how many new boaters do not even know the basic boat-handling fundamentals and put themselves and others in harms way. This video has immense value. I would add that having a docking line bent on and at the ready is not a bad idea as might be fenders deployed on the docking side. I did see the padded rub points on your dock... nice! Any head’s up on when you will have more gear in stock? Thanks so much. Lance
I like the docking videos man! Any advice for docking on a lake where there isn't enough room to turn the boat around between our dock and the neighbors? Still try and come in at 45 degree angle?
If there are 2 of you, why don't you have the Mate cleat off the bow without hitting the dock, then use low thrust starboard reverse (or even port forward) to spring the stern in? If that is your private dock, better yet, have a line cleated off and hang the loop end off the piling, then she can just grap that and hook it to the bow cleat and then bring the stern in...
No pressure docking the boat...but how about making a key lime pie? That’s what I want to see. Again, love the content and quality. See y’all next week!

We are planning to relocate from a desert to coastal FL. Your channel is a one stop shop! Fishing, boating, cooking, lifestyle. Thank you!

Awesome job. I found your house on Google maps due to your drone footage. Nice place!
Ok Stephanie. I'm docking our boat next time my husband and I are out. I can do this!!😬
Have your husband video it for us.
@@robertbennett6697 he did and I landed the boat on the trailer. Not hard for me it was only a 16 ft boat. Stephanies boat is a bit bigger.
Great video!!
Not a contest, but Stephanie's was smoother.... lol! Great video!

What if you have a 1985 scarab that’s 30 ft and you don’t want to damage it?

Thats typically what we do but one of us has to film in this particular situation lol
She docked better than you hahahaha great stuff

Why wouldn't you get a boat lift so you don't have to pull your boats out all the time?
💰💰💲💲💸💸
Dang, she docked it better than you:-)
Dude crashed into the dock. Wife made a perfect landing. lol
Rule 1: Never approach a dock faster than you want to crash into it!
I will disagree I will heal.my boat cost to fix. I'll deal with a boo boo for the boat
She docked it better than you did.
