This is how my high school trains our players, and they train the freshman like me like they train varsity. We go to training on the same days and same times and it's a living hell.
Yea thats what one of the guests that came to our practice told me because i can block like a lineman and run like a running back so thats what im aiming for thanks ! im hoping for that too!

@mamadonl13 lol... football is about much more than lifting.. im a college football player and when we have lifts i consider myself lucky cause its sooooo much easier than running sprints or doing ladder exercises. those are tough, lifting is fun
Yeah kid, when I was in middle school I was 6 ft benching 220+ squatting 315+. Don't forget there is ALWAYS someone out there badder than you. I keep that in mind EVERY time i get in the weightroom.
age: 17 height: 6'1'' 205lbs position: Defensive end bench 205x8 squat 275x8 deadlift 305x8 clean 185x8. use to play football in quebec but no longer cause all the colleges are too far away!!!! i miss football...
You have a point. It's not about how much you can lift. It's about what you can do while playing the sport. So all of these people saying what they can bench, squat, etc; just makes them look like idiots.
I play defender, center, and goalkeeper depending on the circumstances. In American football I play right/left tackle, defensive end, and half back. I also like to play fly-half in rugby. By the way, WPS isn't specified as an economic term, therefore you seem to be bringing shit out of your rear. American Football won't sell in other countries because of the lack of funding, regulation, media coverage, etc that can be made to the sport. It would also be competing with an already popular Futbol
@drpepper12345679 Nah, those are bumper plates, they are the same diameter and nearly the same thickness no matter the weight. All the plates only look like 45's. Is that what you meant?
age: 18 6'1" 245Lbs Pos: Tackle/guard Bench: 275 Squat: 430 dead-lift: 500 40 dash: 5.00 Unsure if i will be playing college ball next year or not, hopefully!
Age 19, weight 170. bench: 305, squat 405 and the program that I play for doesn't let us max because its to easy to injur yourself and it's a waste of a workout
cool my senior year i maxed 510squat and 310 power clean :3 good luck and btw scouts dont care for bench unless ur a o line man they do dun bell bench press barley see regular bench in their workouts
Not to sound too hateful on either side, even though I prefer the American Football, in either sport a person can get hurt. The American Football players could probably destroy the soccer players in our sport, but then again, they can probably out run us what with their main thing being running. Soccer is a sport of running and strategy whereas American Football is of dominating the other side with brute force and strategy. Both sports are good so let's stop the hate and keep loving our sports:D
That's how I push myself to put even more effort in off season practice for next season (Football in Germany Age 16-19) :D I workout more after watching stuff like that just because I don't want to feel like a pussy anymore.
You can bench, squat and run all you want but what impact you have on the field is what makes you good.
Thats what its all about, The difference is how hard you work in the offseason!
