Heya Hannah, just to let you know instead of forking out a ton on getting an aux cord fitted.. you can buy a bluetooth fm transmitter to go in the cigarette lighter, so you can listen to music and also charge your phone. Costs about £10 on amazon.
Yep I’ve got one it’s better than an aux because you can twist and push it to skip the song or pause. Also has a USB port in it so you can charge your phone too.
It was almost all entirely wrong though. There are three trims, Pop, Lounge, and Abarth, and one didn't come out before the other, they were all released simultaneously as different trim levels. Pop has the least options, and so is least expensive, and the Lounge just adds features. The Abarth gets a boost increase from 14PSI to 18PSI (in the US version at least), a lower and stiffer suspension, and a louder muffler-free dual exhaust, among other changes like a tighter steering rack and is meant to be their "hot hatch" performance version. Also, speaking of all the taxes the British pay, does the crown charge you for every "r" sound you pronounce on your words? Its "park my car" not "pahk my cah".
Hi Hannah. I'm a much older guy. This vid was on my TH-cam page, so I watched it expecting it to be so light and silly. I actually really enjoyed it, and found it to be really informative. Good on you! I actually have most of the stuff you have in my car, and i've been driving 34 years! I don't have Worthers Originals, but I will consider getting some, I very rarely eat behind the wheel. One tip, put your note book and pen in the glove compartment, where you can easily reach it if the worst happens. If you are hit in the rear, you may not be able to get into the boot. Other than that, there are a lot of professional car reviewers that could learn a lot from you. I'm proud of you, well done!
I passed my test last year in a manual first time and bought a manual Mini Cooper and I hated driving it. After watching your vlog the other day I realised I wasn’t the only one and on Monday I sold my car and on the weekend I’m picking up my new semi automatic! 😊 enjoy driving! Xxx
I have a Fiat 500 but the Lounge version, I called him Max and he’s an off white colour! I passed my test in October and I can be an anxious driver but it makes such a difference having a car that your happy with and feel confident with. I did have a Corsa whilst learning but it seemed too big (although it’s a small car!) so getting my little Fiat was the best thing I done, love love love it and I know you’ll love Flora too! I’ll be sure to give you a wave if I pass you in Essex! xxx

I don't have a black box on my car, so you can't just change someone's price. Especially without notifying me, I read through the contract and there was no mention of any price change x

This is my dream car, I haven't yet passed my test, (will I ever get there? I dunno) but whenever I do finally ever get round to doing my driving test I know I want one of these at some point! Sounds like you got a good deal with this one, mileage and owner wise, and this was so in depth and helpful, as I have no clue about cars having never needed to really look into them as a non driver, but I now can confirm I know everything I need to know about the fiat 500 and I will be keeping an eye out for any good deals whenever I finally get around to passing my test! I drive a Fiat 500, 2012. I absolutely love it, and it's my favourite car I've had. But, I have never had so many problems with a vehicle in my life. Mechanical problems are super common for Fiat's, and the replacement parts cost an arm and a leg (literally). One front headlight costs $50 CAD. We seem to be having electrical problems with the entire back of the car. Our top brake light is completely dead, and lights are always going (although they have just been replaced). We're struggling to make the decision on if we want to keep the Fiat, as I've already put 35,000km on it since June 2018 (about 6 months). Fiat has always actually been my dream car, I used to watch the commercials & be in awe. We're still in love. They're the cutest cars, period.

I have a Fiat 500 Lounge and someone showed me this little tip after I had the car for a few months!! Hopefully it works for you BUT!! If you lift the front of your passenger seat up and pull forward/up from the back (of the actual part you sit on), there’s a little extra storage place! Came massively in handy for me!!! X
I had a light blue 2014 fiat 500 named Dory - my dream car! I had it for almost a year until 2 weeks ago the day after my 20th birthday a lady came out of her drive way and crashed straight into me while I was driving down the main road. My car got written off and I cried for days and days and then I had to go pick up all my belongings from Dory and it was so sad. Now I currently don't have a car and no car can compare because Dory was my dream car!!!! Sorry for the rant! I just get so mad when people tell me "it's just a piece of metal get over it"
Hannah....on your battery it's marked +&-, + is Red lead ...clamp on terminal, black is the - or ground lead...clamp on terminal or metal piece of car to ground it. Do this to the car jumping yours first. !!!Important!!! Do Not allow other end of leads to touch or it will spark😱 Now attach them to your battery terminals. Wait a few minutes and attempt to start your car. Good Luck💖🇬🇧
I have a Fiat 500 with a start stop battery and I would advise you to NEVER use the jump leads on the start stop battery due to the damage this may cause. I was advised about this when I had to get a new battery for myself!! Just thought I would let you know. Your car is so lovely and you’re so smart having that extra safety kit in your boot- I may have to invest!! Xx

I love mine as well, but have had a bit of trouble naming this one, (which is my second, in three months, and a lounge) and, seeing as how I reside on the other side of the Atlantic and mine is Verde Chiaro (pale green and well suited to such) I'm stealing that name you've chosen for yours Fab Han. My 1st was a Pop, white with red interior and those white tops on the seats as well. Picking a name for her was easy; Kitty. These little cars do sort of resemble cats from the front you know? The emergency car kit is a good idea, although you really shouldn't drink that water if it's been in there a while, that's because the longer you leave a a plastic bottle in storage of fluctuating temperature, hot to cold, cold to hot, the plastic releases into the water. And you have heard of supermarkets? You can get most stuff from there without having to use Amazon!

On your rearview mirror, your meant to adjust it for with the lever pushed towards you. Then when they're glaring you, push the lever away and you get a reflection from out the rear mirror and you can still see where your going. Idk how it works but it seems to work well
I have a fiat 500 sport automatic it’s a great car but once it hits 50,000 miles a lot of problems happen. My battery was dead, The Power terrain system was going dead(aka the brain of the car) and it wasn’t driving smoothly as it use too! My advice is get a warranty with this car it will be worth it
It is Interesting to see the similarities and differences between the UK/European version and my North American version. One thing you demonstated that I didn't know I could do in my almost 10 years of owning my 2013, Made in Mexico for North America, FIAT 500 Pop, is that I could push in my door handles in to lock the doors right away after getting into the car in a dodgy neighborhood. Thanks for that!
Instead of getting an aux cord fitted in, you could buy an FM transmitter with an aux cord which goes into your cigarette lighter. I also have a Fiat 500 2010 but lounge and it doesn't have an aux cord either so I just use that!
Omg Hannah I have the same car! Exact mine is beige!! You can use the middle bit of the horn to beep btw ☺️ also the back seats do fold down and it’s amazing if you have lots of shopping! Hope you have loads of fun driving your little flora as well 😘

You should get a window breaking hammer with a seatbelt cutter. Because in an accident, if your doors get smashed in, you wont be able to open your windows. And then tie/tape, your whistle to it and keep it in the compartment in the front seat (preferably with the reflective vest)

You should make sure you clean up any petrol you spill on round the petrol cap, cause otherwise it will slowly rush away. Also when you said your fog lights are automatic, it will be your normal lights that are automatic, you fog lights won’t be as you can only have them on if the visibility is really low and there aren’t other cars about - which the car won’t be able to detect
Firstly, hi-vis jacket is probably one of the most important things in that kit- if you break down at night on the motorway and have to change a tyre you need to be seen. Would recommend keeping in the car not the boot. Secondly, footpumps are useless for car tyres even ones as small as what you have. You can buy small compressors that plug into your cigarette lighter and are far better. Congrats on the car!
I have the exact same car without an aux cord but I bought this Bluetooth thing from eBay only £4 and it connects to my phone to your car and it’s so good I can listen to music, answer phone calls and charges your phone xx

You need to listen to LBC sometime, it's a great debate/discussion station where they talk about a whole load of topics not just politics or some boring things that younger people like us wouldn't care about. I'm 23 and I listen to it when I don't feel like having music on or I just want a break from music for a bit, honestly give it a try. Literally pretty much all of the taxi drivers in London listen to it which must mean it's a good station as they obviously listen to a lot of radio stations while working. I also love Heart Radio and Heat Radio is fab too x
Hi @fabuloushannah u can use a Bluetooth reciever which plugs in to the car phone charger thing and it works perfect then u dont have to get any cables instapled with aux the blutooth thing is small and just plugs in
I have a fiat 500 too! love it, I love the colour of yours! If you lift up the passenger seat in mine there is another storage compartment under the seat. Might be worth checking if yours has that too!

One thing, you might want to relocate the umbrella into the front area, in So. FLA we have tropical storms that will drench you in just getting out to the rear of the car to fetch the umbrella or can you retrieve it from the inside by reaching over the rear seat? Anyway, a concise, entertaining video!
Check if your wheel locking nut is in the compartment under the passenger seat in case you get a flat tyre, you need it to take the wheel off, mine was missing from new or taken out by someone when it’s been in the garage.
Isn't it mandatory to have a hi-vis safety vest & warning triangle in your car in England? In Belgium (& some surrounding countries) it actually is mandatory & most of the cars come with those included!
Whenever we travel to Europe we have to find out the high vis jackets and more stuff as you have to it there but we don’t have to, when I get a car I’m getting a high vis tho!

I learnt primarily in my car so I’m used to it but I found this helpful just to know little bits about the car as I’ve just been working it out as I go 😂 mines 2011, white and is a manual. The horn is both the fiat logo on the wheel and the little horn icon just to let you know ☺️ I also have the same air freshener 😂 you have inspired me and I’m just about to get my car cleaned xx

Hello from New Jersey - I had two Fiat 500's and both were fabulous. Two thumbs up.
I have a fiat 500 sport automatic it’s a great car but once it hits 50,000 miles a lot of problems happen. My battery was dead, The Power terrain system was going dead(aka the brain of the car) and it wasn’t driving smoothly as it use too! My advice is get a warranty with this car it will be worth it
It is Interesting to see the similarities and differences between the UK/European version and my North American version. One thing you demonstated that I didn't know I could do in my almost 10 years of owning my 2013, Made in Mexico for North America, FIAT 500 Pop, is that I could push in my door handles in to lock the doors right away after getting into the car in a dodgy neighborhood. Thanks for that!
Instead of getting an aux cord fitted in, you could buy an FM transmitter with an aux cord which goes into your cigarette lighter. I also have a Fiat 500 2010 but lounge and it doesn't have an aux cord either so I just use that!
Omg Hannah I have the same car! Exact mine is beige!! You can use the middle bit of the horn to beep btw ☺️ also the back seats do fold down and it’s amazing if you have lots of shopping! Hope you have loads of fun driving your little flora as well 😘

You should get a window breaking hammer with a seatbelt cutter. Because in an accident, if your doors get smashed in, you wont be able to open your windows. And then tie/tape, your whistle to it and keep it in the compartment in the front seat (preferably with the reflective vest)

You should make sure you clean up any petrol you spill on round the petrol cap, cause otherwise it will slowly rush away.
Also when you said your fog lights are automatic, it will be your normal lights that are automatic, you fog lights won’t be as you can only have them on if the visibility is really low and there aren’t other cars about - which the car won’t be able to detect

Firstly, hi-vis jacket is probably one of the most important things in that kit- if you break down at night on the motorway and have to change a tyre you need to be seen. Would recommend keeping in the car not the boot. Secondly, footpumps are useless for car tyres even ones as small as what you have. You can buy small compressors that plug into your cigarette lighter and are far better. Congrats on the car!

Instead of adding the AUX, you could just buy a Bluetooth-radio thing and it would make your car a hands free car. Soo cuteeeee, love your car

I have the exact same car without an aux cord but I bought this Bluetooth thing from eBay only £4 and it connects to my phone to your car and it’s so good I can listen to music, answer phone calls and charges your phone xx

You need to listen to LBC sometime, it's a great debate/discussion station where they talk about a whole load of topics not just politics or some boring things that younger people like us wouldn't care about. I'm 23 and I listen to it when I don't feel like having music on or I just want a break from music for a bit, honestly give it a try. Literally pretty much all of the taxi drivers in London listen to it which must mean it's a good station as they obviously listen to a lot of radio stations while working. I also love Heart Radio and Heat Radio is fab too x

Hi @fabuloushannah u can use a Bluetooth reciever which plugs in to the car phone charger thing and it works perfect then u dont have to get any cables instapled with aux the blutooth thing is small and just plugs in

I have a fiat 500 too! love it, I love the colour of yours! If you lift up the passenger seat in mine there is another storage compartment under the seat. Might be worth checking if yours has that too!

If your windows fog up you probably need to check your cabin air filter. It’s probably clogged up and will need to get replaced.
Hannah, you were perfect in the description of your cute car. And your emergency bag in the boot is beyond what I have in my car, very well done! One thing, you might want to relocate the umbrella into the front area, in So. FLA we have tropical storms that will drench you in just getting out to the rear of the car to fetch the umbrella or can you retrieve it from the inside by reaching over the rear seat? Anyway, a concise, entertaining video!
Check if your wheel locking nut is in the compartment under the passenger seat in case you get a flat tyre, you need it to take the wheel off, mine was missing from new or taken out by someone when it’s been in the garage.
Isn't it mandatory to have a hi-vis safety vest & warning triangle in your car in England? In Belgium (& some surrounding countries) it actually is mandatory & most of the cars come with those included!

Whenever we travel to Europe we have to find out the high vis jackets and more stuff as you have to it there but we don’t have to, when I get a car I’m getting a high vis tho!

aww i got one too about two days ago and it's also pretty stock 😂❤️ pre-owned as well and it's in red . i'm just concerned about the ignition , kinda need to push the key for longer . it scares me but i think that's first car nerves or the fact that i practiced with a VW before

Fog lights with never be automatic - the button on your dash is just for your rear fog light.

I passed around a month ago and have the same car. I learnt primarily in my car so I’m used to it but I found this helpful just to know little bits about the car as I’ve just been working it out as I go 😂 mines 2011, white and is a manual. The horn is both the fiat logo on the wheel and the little horn icon just to let you know ☺️ I also have the same air freshener 😂 you have inspired me and I’m just about to get my car cleaned xx
