Recently, I had to have one of my two cats put to sleep, which broke my heart. I decided then that my next pet will be an Aibo. He can't get sick, and if something goes wrong with him I can be confident he's feeling no pain. The price is eyewatering, but I've easily spent as much on vet's bills. Can't wait for the UK release. Hurry up, Sony!

i LOVE the aibo robot line (i have one of the old models which is a ers210 that came out in 2000) and when i heard that sony was bringing the line back with the ers1000 i was absolutely ecstatic! and they did not disappoint at all with this new model! i wonder when it’ll come for the EU and how the even newer models will be in the future!
The ERS-1000 is pretty cool, when I thought the ERS-7 was cool. I'm still in the phase of this situation where I'm poor, so the robot dog I'm allowed to have is a haunted robot dog, that powers up and looks and yelps at you, even though it has no power port or battery receptacle. I'd add a pic, but this website doesn't have that option. It's a white robot dog by Tiger Electronics, and I wrote with a permanent marker on it's back: Quetzalcoatl's HAUNTED Robotic Pet Dog. It is like a WTF dog.

Real dog's are expensive and high maintenance. They're basically children that never grow up, can't take care of themselves, and don't live very long. Fuck that, i wanna travel. A one time $3K purchase, is nothing compared to how much you'll end up spending on your dog within a few years. Dog food, treats, visits to the vet, groomers, dog sitter/daycare when you want to travel, training, insurance, shampoo/conditioner, toys, accessories to protect them from the elements, ect.ect.
For a robot dog it just the cost of electricity, and maybe maintenance in future years, maybe a few pink toys for your robot dog to play with now and then.
Yes it's the ultimate 🤖 dog. I would've loved to buy Aibo for my granddaughter Christmas ⛄🎄 2021. But that $3,000 price tag OMG!!!!!. I had to settle for another one. Merry Christmas 🎄⛄ and a Happy New Years 🎉🍾🎊

It's a nice little gadget to have, but $3000??? $700 is what I'd spend on it, TOPS, considering what it actually does. I mean it's a nice little thing to have around the house, but let's face it, it's still pretty damn slow to respond, it makes a ton of noise to move around and well, it doesn't really do anything other than provide some entertainment.

Hi everybody who is able to answer me?I will be in Tokyo next week and I would like to buy a ERS1000 second hand to use in Italy.What I have to do to have the Basic Plan if I set it in Japan and bring it with me in Italy?I know that is possible maybe not with all the functionality to use him out of Japan and USA, can sombody help me please??
One thing for sure is you will need a power adapter for the charging mat as I think Japan has different voltage and power outlets than Italy has, also you will have to figure out how to reset the language recognition to your language as the Japanese model probably is set up to understand Japanese, unless of course if you speak fluent Japanese then you wouldn't have to worry and can just speak to your Aibo in Japanese.
People who bought this robot pet is not because they love dog but it's because they love robot. If you are a real pet lover, you know what I mean, a real feeling and a true relationship, a true bonding.

Before robot wives and husbands I think it will be robot cats, like real cats they will ignore you when you call them, get in the way when you are watching TV, on your computer, or trying to read something, knock breakable things down, gain interest in moving things and scratch the furniture, they will also have pink on their tail to get chased by robot dogs.

let's compare with a real dog: 1) Real dog loves you..for real and does not need a battery or silicon for that. 2) Real dogs will chase the rabbits and squirrels in your backyard.. 3) The real dog will make a huge party every time you go home 4) the real dog will know when there is a stranger in the house and it is not limited to 10 faces 5) The real dog will make unpredictable tricks instead trained ones 6) the real dog does not make weird motor noises when it moves and boy.. they move way faster... 7) the real dog will miss you.. when you die or when you be away.. 8) the real dogs are way more fun and they are God creation.. not man creation.. I love my 4 real dogs :)

The warmth, love and affection a live dog or cat offers cannot be duplicated by a piece of hard plastic with software. 4.
