You know, Sean, watching this again reminds me of how much I love your channel... I know you took a lot of grief in the beginning because of the "substandard" equipment you were using -- but that's one of the things I loved the most about your videos! You took on massive jobs with just the simplest of tools, and got it done with a helluva lot of determination and work! In addition, I haven't forgotten that YOU were the one who started the whole "do a free yard makeover" trend... The difference being, though, that most now pick the nasty yards that would make them the best video -- whereas you've always picked the yards that would make you the best person (and the video just came along for the ride). Your part of the world has had some nasty weather this past year, which threw a wrench in your lawn mowing business AND in your TH-cam business. Here's hoping that the coming year brings success in both endeavors! (((((hugs)))))
I think out of all the Lawn Care videos, I've seen I have to say you are most attentive edger , that is one of my pet peeves is not having it cut all the same. You do very good work and a very hard worker. Thanks for you service to the community!
This how one gauges the health of a community, by how willing its members are to do this kind of labor for those who can't. You are a treasure, never doubt it, Sean. You have no need of a cape; your willingness to show your empathy with your hands is the only super power you'll ever need... That said, how satisfying to see those long-lost curbs and walkways emerge from the jungle!
It takes someone with the strength 💪 of an ox to hold the whipper snipper all day, then push mow thru all that thickness. Now we know why no other lawn care guy even gave it a 2nd look! What a workout! Sean, you're the man!
Some serious cleanup here . One can only imagine what would have happened had you come in with a riding mower & hit those hidden rocks! Although it was alot of effort to do this jungle with the whipper-snipper, it was your best option. Applause for your discernment & job well done!
My guess? Shattered and mangled blades, and the undercarriage of the mower ripped out like a shoaled-out ship tearing its keel and hull to pieces on a reef. Fit for reclamation and scrap afterwards, but likely little else, unless someone's got a passion for metalworking and major restorations and rebuilds.
I always had a problem trying to understand why archaeologists always found their treasures underneath a lot of soil . Why and how does it get covered up and hidden over the years ? Now I know seeing you unearthing paths and stone borders . I’m not finished watching so god knows what you will find at the back of the house . Ps . I don’t think I’ve ever seen grass as matted as that back garden . Hats off to you and Will . That was a monumental job .
I vividly remember when u did that front lawn. I’ve never seen grass that dense and the look on your face was almost of defeat but u stayed the course and victory was yours. Awesome job
Long pants and gaiters, absolutely. 9 of the 10 deadliest snake species in the world live in Australia. Yeah, we always do a snake check. Ticks a well.
This was definitely a wild lawn. Glad you whipped the front so you didn't run over the rocks with your mower. Do glad to hear you still go over to help this man out. You are one hell off a wonderful person. God bless you all until next time.💜💜💜💜👏👏👏👏
The patience of a saint - that’s you Sean. Not very many would have taken the hours to unearth the cement walkways and driveway. Bagging the grass - oh wow. I grew up on a small farm. You could have made bales of hay from that lawn. The landlord has been blessed by your company and attention to detail. The renter was relieved and thankful for sure. May God continue to strengthen, lead and reward your life. Love from Minnesota USA
This was indeed a super difficult job especially with the smaller less powerful mowers you had in those days. Even now with your better equipment those two types of grass with their deep intertwined thatch are killer to mow. This was a marvelous transformation and a heck of a job to cut your teeth on so to speak. Well done Sean. Yet another in your ever growing series of public service to your community.
I was amazed that you didn't scare up any critters while knocking down this property, Sean; especially in and around the detritus in the back yard. 😲 That guy (and his landlord) must've been so happy to get this done. The 64K question is: "Have you been back to keep it looking decent?" 😜😁 Thanks for putting this together. See you next time. 😊👍
OMG, the lawn from hell! You worked your arse off. Great job as always. Your the best at using that wipper snipper. Hope these people appreciated your hard work.
This is one time where a picture could to ever tell a thousand words. The before and after pictures just did not do justice to the effort that you put in to that Sean. Though, I must say; that I was very surprised to see how well, both the front and back yards looked when both were finished. The front lawn looked as good as any on the street. Thank you Sean and Will for a wonderful example of doing the right thing!!!
Holy Moly!! Four strenuous days to an awesome transformation!! For a rental property that lot was big. You’re definitely a blessing to the gentleman in the house! Thanks to Will for helping, too. Good seeing him again.
It's always amazing to see how you get that grass cut!No one can say you didn't work your butt off on this yard@Who's idea was it to put those rocks in the yard?

When watching videos like this, I often wonder whatever happened to neighbor helping neighbor or family members pitching in to help those who can't do it. I guess those days have come and gone. Thankfully there are people like Sean who step up and give so much!

Sean, I was too late to write in the live chat, but someone else mentioned M&D Lawncare designing a metal shoe worn under the work shoe to aid in removing cut edging material. Check it out sometime, it might help preserve your knees and ankles, especially with jobs as monumental as this one. Lovely finish on this lawn!!
Yes it’s awesome. They’re in the process of getting a patent on it and I can’t wait till they do so all the lawn groomers I watch can benefit from it!! 👍👍👍

It must have given you so much satisfaction at the end of the second day, seeing what you had achieved; and Will too, what a good friend to help you out on the last leg, the second day. And, what a transformation! Excellent job! :)
I can't even imagine the thickness of that ugly grass and the labor that went into getting that done over several days. You are definitely the right man for it. Great job.
Magnificent job! Beautiful transformation! Loved the dueling mowers. Of course loved the whipper snipping and edging. Got to say that was tough grass mowing. Great premier!! Loved the longer session! Doing your transformations with just the basic trimmers, ,edgers, and mowers is just amazing. Professionals companies don't put in half the time to get the appearance and that's why I enjoy watching your channel the most. Great work on this job.
Mate, I just finished clearing a rural block that hadn't been mown for more than 20 years! The house block is about 4 acres and it took me 2 days on the rideon, crowbar, and brushcutter, 40 litres of fuel and 5 blades on the rideon just to clear the worst of it. So many rocks hidden in the grass! Then I started in on the chook pen foundations that required my standing on a crowbar just to loosen the timber and wire mesh that was buried under the dense grass. 2 ute loads of wire mesh and assorted junk to the tip and now I can get started on the cardboard boxes, the remanants of the chook pens etc. Oh, and I'm 71. And a mug.......
Sean, you do great work💪Mate. Your doing a great service to those who are dealing with issues, medical💊💉🩺or limited or no economical💵flow. No doubt, this was a super difficult job, and I must say it was fantastic work. I loved the fact you removed the vines from the tree base in the backyard. When I watch others and they don't do this I don't enjoy the end result. The property looks too good for words
It's a complete change for the whole yard but I believe the front was the worse part. You've done another great job. I like how you take pride in your work and do a thorough job. That's how you keep and gain new customers. Be proud of the work you do. Helping others is a rewarding feeling when you see the finished product and the smiles on their faces. May God bless you and your family everyday
Absolutely amazing. A hidden gem of a yard. It's beautiful. If the renter could jump and shout, he would. Well, maybe in his head. You have done a great service to help him. Thankyou, for your time and hard work.
Oh my goodness what a yard. That looked impossible to mow maybe with a bush hog 🤔 wow what a difference. You gave them back their yard and driveway. Thanks Sean and Will for all you do to help those who are in need. Blessings to you and and families.❤️
Wow! All those rocks and concrete you uncovered was amazing! You are so good with your light saber that everything shaped up nicely. Little R2D2 the first day was struggling but your bigger mower slayed that grass! Lovely finish to a very hard job,Shawn!
Nice job sir. I really get annoyed when I see the neighbours not helping out, especially the shared strip of grass beside the driveway! Imagine being that small minded to not even cut an extra foot over. 😡 I’ve always helped elderly neighbours with lawns, car washing, and taking bins out.
That was exhausting to even watch, let alone undertake! Honestly I think my spirit would have been broken after a few hours. Well done Sean for your endurance and helping others x
that was absolutely a bear of a lawn tout. Had to use wipper snipper for initial cut to deal with the extremely thick grass and to uncover all the landscape obstacles. Great job Sean.

Great job
Sean, you do great work💪Mate. Your doing a great service to those who are dealing with issues, medical💊💉🩺or limited or no economical💵flow. Your gifting🎁forward makes it possible for so many others who would otherwise, have no way to accomplish their lawns presentations. Keeps the Snakes🪱🪱at Bay & Mice🐭🐁& Rats🐀🐀& the Bugs🐜🪲🐞🦗🕷🪳away for starters. Always, Tommy🤠
No doubt, this was a super difficult job, and I must say it was fantastic work. I loved the fact you removed the vines from the tree base in the backyard. When I watch others and they don't do this I don't enjoy the end result. The property looks too good for words
@DavidWalter4800@ Fantastic, my family tells me I'm crazy and should find help for my addiction to Lawn videos.
It’s stress relief 🇩🇰
Bloody hell Sean! I think the adage "when the going gets tough the tough get going" applies here. Well done.
I just love me a good pathfinder video! 🤣 But seriously, that was the most immaculate clean up of an overgrown lawn I have ever seen. Kudos on you! 💚
Huge effort and phenomenal results! I hope they were able to maintain it! Awesome job!❤️
Amazing job fellas. Major transformation,I know this homeowner is very pleased with the outcome. Thank you for your generosity.💯❤️👏🏾👍🏾😀🙋🏽♀️✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
I remember when you did this lawn awesome work, I could actually feel your pain as you struggled through it.
That was exhausting to even watch, let alone undertake! Honestly I think my spirit would have been broken after a few hours. Well done Sean for your endurance and helping others x
This grass is a monster! You both did an awesome job! 👍
Wow! That was awesome! That was a lot of hard work! Kudos to you!!🥰🥰🥰Looks wonderful❤️
That was truely awesome Sean! All that hard work up and down the hill too. Bet the owner was extremely grateful for your help. Beautiful job. ❤️
YOU NEED A BUSH HOG FOR THAT KIND OF GRASS. I,VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT.
that was absolutely a bear of a lawn tout. Had to use wipper snipper for initial cut to deal with the extremely thick grass and to uncover all the landscape obstacles. Great job Sean.
