Pretty sure he's already insane, lol. Too many sim games, plus he tried to make a literal maze in a convenient store. Man probably could qualify for a psychologist at this point.

You can take the labels off of the shelf by clicking them and that should fix your stockers
The standing in front of a small section of product, going back and forth looking for something is pretty accurate to real life retail. Customers just expect something to appear where it’s not
16:20 Drae, being a gamer of many years, you should know by now, saving and reloading is the 1st step you should take when you encounter weird bugs in almost any game.
The one thing this game really needs is a grid system. Hand placing every shelf when you unlock a new area can get very tedious
I agree, pumping simulator does that really well, hand alighning ceiling lights is annoying if you are even remotely OCD.
If you miss the products that have changed price, you can check the computer. Look on the list of products there should be a green or red arrow below the price of products that have changed.
it's why i like the mod that auto updates the prices every morning
just a tip if you miss the price changes you can use the market on your pc to see what items went up and what went down the items have red and green arrows :D

They either need to add or have some mod in the ability to price check/set from the computer. That way they update without checking store every 5 seconds. Or at least set base price when stocked with no price.
I think the store looks good. I love all the games your playing now. You such a underrated TH-camr and after being sub to you for about 4or5 years now,I still wait on your uploads. Much love and support and my God bless you on all your endeavors you take on.
definitely have to look at layouts from existing stores: order the walking route to daytime seems to be most optimal (entrance has all the morning stuff like bread and spread and closest to the cashier has the extra stuff like candy.
In real life the customers have thoughts and wants. In the gaming world the customers just buy stuff to buy stuff. No need to have items in preferred spots based on category or customer desire. Soap, candy, beer, sugar on same shelf will sell just the same as if they are separated.

The price changes will also show on the stock list on the computer. Look for and arrow up or arrow down on each product to indicate if it has gone up or down.
Guys we need to inform drae their is a TH-cam channel called skapegote who just posted a video for a car rental simulator and he used his intro saying Hey guys drae here
Whenever weird stuff happens to me in this game I usually fix it by saving and going back to the main menu then reloading. The stocker guy will then relearn where everything is supposed to go
When I move products to different shelves, I always need to reload the game because the restockers don't seem to update
When they stutter looking where to place the item, just fill the shelf they are looking at. They will update where they need to go.
Maybe you can build stairs with boxes to get to the boxes on top?

U should use auto pricer and auto stocker mod
You should swap the freezer in the middle with the cashier over in the corner
u should get the statistics mod to allow u to price all your products in the computer and see if people are complaining. i really like to use the mod its nice.
Drea, you should try having the cashiers equal distance from the door. Just an idea. I love this game so far!

AI pathfinding is your issue ... simply put your checkout at the shortest route the customer would take from selecting items, to the door.

When the stocker gets glitches like that you need to either A) stock the shelf fully so there’s no space and they go to the real shelf for the item. B) save and restart the game :)
There is a mod that automatically puts the items u order onto the storage shelves as long as there is a tag there for it

Friendly reminder Drae, you can put 2 products in 1 shelf, like, as you know your salt doesn't have much demand so you can just put it in the lower half of the shelf and use the upper half for something else (something w/ low demand would be good too)
Pretty sure you can in theory put up to 8 on a single shelf depending on how many shelves there are.
I think in one of the earlier episodes he said he purposefully wanted one product per one shelf so it is more easy to see for him what needs to be replaced.

@@baryonyxwalkeri3957 yeah he might've, and i think it's a good idea but for efficiency sake i think 1 shelf of 2 low demand items is better than buying a whole set of shelves and trying to figure out how to fit it in somewhere. Also, half a shelf being empty would still be very noticeable, so i think it wouldn't really make much difference.

Personally. I just download the mod where employee checkouts counts towards your total and skipped that grind.
There`s an infinite money glitch where you box up the cashiers and then reload the game, automatically giving you the default cashier and then you sell that boxed cashier.
There is White Sugar, Brown Sugar and Cube Sugar
There are 61 different names for sugars in real life.

Welcome to the world's most inefficiently laid out supermarket...where we make customers walk down long aisles to get items, and then have to walk all the way back to get out, rather than just have aisles open on both ends so customer sand zig zag up and down aisles.
Something tells me that isn't helping all these weird customer and stocker behaviors.

I figured out today, if you right click a shelf with the proper box you can repack the items to move them to a different shelf.
