Great video. I bought my 7548-700b in 1980. It was produced in Aug/Sep 1979. I wore it exclusively until the 4th of February this year when it was sent to a specialist for a once over. I'm missing my old friend and can't wait to get it back.
Thank you! Glad you liked it. Wow! That is so cool that you’ve had the watch for so long. It is such a good piece, hope you get it back soon.
Have one 7548 700B from 1972, and this watch has been my workhorse for nearly 50 years now, never serviced, but still working fine, allthough looking extreamly worn.
Are you sure it's a 7548? They released in 1978. Great pieces.
@@romancrenshaw7536 Yes, I am sure. The number 7548-700b is clearly visible at the back of the watch, and the watch was bought in Tromsø, Norway in 1972, and I paid 1250 NOK for it.
@@romancrenshaw7536 You can't believe everything you hear. He purchased a watch in 1972 that was not even made yet.
Great video mate! I love my 7548-700b, a prized gem in my Seiko collection!
Thank you! It is just such a great piece, glad there is another 7548 fan out there!
I wish that seiko still produced the 7548 diver. I had one of those back in the early 1980s and for some reason I stupidly sold it, and I've regretted it ever since. I would love the chance to buy a quartz replacement for it, but I don't think seiko will be doing that again. So if you have a watch that you like don't do what I did and sell it.
You know what? I’ve done the same thing so many times and I just don’t seem to learn! Maybe you should grab yourself a Seiko Tuna SBBN031 the Tuna 7c46 quartz movement is gorgeous and if I remember right closely related to the 7548 movement. A watch I had and let go and am now kicking myself 😂
Thats a beauty. I'm a huge fan of a 7548...
Thanks! Nice to hear I’m not the only one that loves these old quartz watches
I have the a7548-7000 and I really like it. I like both quartz and automatic watches.
Hi. I'm not 100% certain but I believe the 7548-7000 is the Japan home market version and the 700B was Asian market and 700F US and Euro market. I might be wrong though.
Watch nurd 😂 u got me Bro 😎😂😂
