- IN THIS VIDEO WE LOOK AT RESULTANT VELOCITY. WHAT IS RESULTANT VELOCITY AND HOW TO CALCULATE RESULTANT VELOCITY FOR QUESTIONS CONCERNING VELOCITY THAT IS ACTING PARALLEL TO THE SURFACE, AND FOR VELOCITY THAT IS ACTING AT AN ANGLE.
Great Video!!
An aeroplan flies to it destination 400km directly east of its starting point the pilot wants to complete the flight in 50minutes A wind blown in a north-eastern directly at 10m/s: calculate the following
A)the velocity of the aeroplan
B)the direction of the flight
Pliz I need ur help I'm waiting for ur respond
Thank you
9:18 isn't it - 10sin15 since the angle is towards the vertical?
Oh okay, never mind 😅 makes sense now
please help me out here, my N4 textbook says the vertical component uses cosine and horizontal component uses sine? im confused
I think there is some mistake in the textbook
Just look this www.chegg.com/learn/calculus/precalculus/vertical-component-of-a-vector
Hope you find this helpful!
@@gkbeatz947 thank youu
Happy to help
It's another method, choose the one that is easy for you
Wonderful
Can u help me with this question
7:41 its going south not east
Think you made a mistake.. when calculating the vertical conponets.. you used 40 instead of 60 km/h
Thanks man I will check and correct🥰🥰
It must be my handwriting the value is 40 km/h.
