@@WATCHOUTyoutube I am all for stealing, I got nothing against it, great artists steal.. But this guy is talentless and he just does copy paste, there is no creativity in that. If he can't write an 8 minutes plot on his own, how is he gonna write and direct 2 hours movie?I am sure judges must have watched these movies, not sure why they are supporting ripoffs.. Encouraging guys like him is definitely not good for future of tamil cinema.

@@WATCHOUTyoutube No, most directors steal.. For example, The dark Knight's heist scene was inspired from Michael Mann's heat, Tarintino's most films are influenced by many. Tamil directors, most of them steal, even polladavan plot had similarities to an Italian film bicycle thieves. Many directors in all industries do that especially when you are a writer/director and not adapting a book to a film. Art always gets reshuffled but you should show some dignity in stealing, not copy paste directly.

@@karmegapulavar5438 Not sure who directed it but I remember watching it. Hannibal has a triology in movies with a TV show as well, all adapted from Thomas Harris Novel. All movies and TV shows in this universe apart from the silence of the lambs(first adaptation from book) has scenes reoccuring and same things happen again. So wouldn't call that shortfilm a ripoff exactly, it is inspired. I think he just took the concept of hannibal lecter serving human flesh and did his own story, there was some creativity to say the least unlike this one which was scene to scene ripoff. Directors should know the difference between stealing and ripoff , Maybe it is a learning curve and that's why this dude got a pass, my opinion is he didn't deserve it.
