*"I could've kicked Castle to the curb years ago, any time I wanted to. The only reason I kept him around this long was 'cause I saw how good he was for you. Kate...you weren't having any fun before he came along."* - The great Roy Montgomery
It was almost like he predicted this to happen. On the serious note, she was having lots of fun, success in solving these cases started having feelings for him, started dating, which led to marriage and kids. They even worked through all that.
I love Stana! The part in Murder he wrote, right after he says I'll show you around, you could see her expression change, like "Do I really belong here in this lifestyle?" A moment of doubt coming from a woman who has been so strong & confident, even in the face of death.
I get so sad when I hear the rumors that in real life Castle and Beckett hated each other. Apparently they are both such good actors they can convincingly "play" chemistry.
Gary Duncan not the way I heard it, the producers even tried couples therapy but to no avail Kate was done, and according to a interview ready to do something new.
There's a lot of rumors as to what happened. Short of one of the actual actors saying what happened in an interview, I am going to just ignore the rumors. While some may be true or partially true, it's anyone's guess as to which is which and there's no point in guessing.
I love and miss this show so much! I always thought it was a little silly for her to ask that question, though. I'm sure after 4 years of being around him and knowing he's a famous author she'd realize he was rich!
There is rich and there is RICH! Wealthy people don't own a house in the Hamptons they rent them. It's only the very rich that can afford to own a house.
Upper income New York lifestyle. New money/Professional - Loft in Midtown, house in the Hamptons. Older inherited money. Co-op on Park or 5th, house in Upstate NY. Really really old money (think Astor, Rockefeller, Vanderbilt) Townhouse or Maisonette in the old Upper East Side- Sutton Place or Beekman Place, Family Estate on Long Island's North Shore, commute by cabin cruiser.
@@CatCheshire It was rushed. But as far as I remember... didn't they defeat LokSat (or did he get away?). And they both lived and now seem to have 2 children. Ps.: If I'm misremembering and LokSat got away please correct me!
@@XanderFenikkusu according to writers there was more to loksat then just the season 8 finale. They were going to kill beckett's characters and have a season 9 but channel decided to cancel the show. So they just added the last part as a "HAPPY ENDING".
@@Helperstricks I'm actually glad they did. Even though this ending was definitely rushed it was still better than the alternative. Castle without Beckett would be like the Mentalist without Lisbon, Lucifer without Chloe or Bones without Seely Booth. But the best possibility would, still, have been to write a better season 9 and 10. With interesting interactions with LokSat and intriguing development for Castle and Beckett. Maybe they could have actually shown her pregnancy and then them rasing the child, instead of this "seven years later"-thing.

I wish Montgomery had lived so he could have seen castle and Kate together
Actually he could've tried to, but he likely would've been overruled. People forget Castle had connections above Montgomery.
The moment they start to sing together... priceless! cap Montgomery we still miss you like hell
I love Roy Montgomery too
Them singing the song with Captain Montgomery gives me the feels. He was the best.
And it sequed into a tribute for Stephen J. Canell, the Stan Lee of Prime Time TV.
It has been years and countless repeats and I still love this show. The romances are an inspiration.
"Sex?"
"I'll explain how that works later."
LOL
@Asad Butt and then about the proposal: "You know how this works, right?"
You know nothing Kate Beckett. :)
Damn I love the scene where they're starting singing the song of the piano man *_*
Yup that was one of the most epic moments ever :D
Marie Lpt Yeah, didn't sound half bad either!
i was half expecting her to say: sorry don´t know the text
Anyone wonder if Lanie could sing along and were disappointed she couldn't have been snuck into that scene...
That piano man scene though, it makes me feels so happy and I've never even watched this show!
Well worth watching! There the occasional painfully awkward bit but on balance it’s excellent
Loved Montgomery's "twist my arm" with the whiskey glass RIGHT after Castle offers them a drink
I love Stana! The part in Murder he wrote, right after he says I'll show you around, you could see her expression change, like "Do I really belong here in this lifestyle?" A moment of doubt coming from a woman who has been so strong & confident, even in the face of death.
1:20 his reaction was priceless. Best episode of season 3
One of my favorite shows if all time
"thank god I'm rich" lol
Castle is one of the best series..8 seasons are the best
First seven were good. Last season was train wreck with LOKSAT plot and rushed ending.

They are rumors
They had a very special connection... perhaps sexual? No one is talking. But somehow it went off the rails and only they know why.

RICHard castle
2:33 - interesting how they all knew to skip the next part of the verse at the same time... lol
Beckett in that fancy dress driving a Ferrari, oh yes 😄
Good thing she has a get out of jail card.... her badge!!!
I love and miss this show so much! I always thought it was a little silly for her to ask that question, though. I'm sure after 4 years of being around him and knowing he's a famous author she'd realize he was rich!
she said that jokingly, pal

Yep, I take that Becketts comment was tongue in cheek.
ahh that singalong so good!!!
R for rich!
It really HAS been a long time for you, hasn't it? Lol
It was always about Beckett's hairstyles and when she dressed up Herve Leger 😎🤔☺
One of the great ones (least for most of its run). It is missed.
Best part ever !!!! ❤️
Casting Was magnificent..
Well, we do know he's worth less than 750 million, as he's not James Patterson rich :p
To be fair, Richard Castle *write* all his books and don't outsource his name to others.

This is beauytiful.
j'adore superbe
Merci, Annie!
I miss Castle
What's the song playing when they are driving to the Hamptons?
Lydia Carr Longing To Belong by Eddie Vedder
Stolen my name for humour? Well I for one ain't amused! Richard Castle.
Castle's ex-wife/publisher is hotz....
Looks are not everything pal, she may be hot on the outside, but her personality is not on the inside.
And Kate let him drive❤❤
And Kate let Rick drive❤
I love Castle!!! Soo bad ending that way....
What do you mean? There was a happy end...
