By definition, he wouldn't be Thaumiel since the foundation does not consider him a vital asset is not using excessive resources to ensure his effectiveness. He is however a beneficial SCP.

@@dandanthedandan7558 That's a Ticonderoga! when an SCP cannot be contained, but does not need to be contained. some other examples would be SCP-4444, SCP-5494, or SCP-5623! However, the foundation actually doesn't know enough about Murphy Law to reasonably say he intends no harm. heck, the entire story could be completely made up, and he could have hurt a bunch of people for no reason. that's a perfectly good reason to contain an SCP, even if it's not world-ending.

@@einsibongo hell yeah. SCP-3143 is a sequel. And then there are “Never Metafictional Character I Didn't Like” and “Recovered Media: The Hard-Boiled Adventures of Murphy Law” tales. That’s the main storyline. But you can find other related materials on the hub page.

This honestly might be one of my favorite SCPs ever. I love the idea of an SCP who would rather help people but instead of doing in the boring way it writes itself a noir detective script 10/10
He doesn't just write a script. He changes local reality to BE a noir script. Now it could be argued that he's going around solving crimes, but also are violent 30's era crimes a result of his presence?

While I think the serious SCPs CAN be good, the goofy and fun ones are almost always great. The mix is surely healthy but I always find myself wanting more like this.
You know, I'm not usually a big fan of metaphysical/pataphysics style stuff myself, but I really have yet to read a Hippo SCP I didn't like. Dude does good work.
Of course, Murphy Law will return, in... The Foundation Always Rings Twice!

Can I just say as a fellow voice actor on TH-cam, I appreciate the skill and craft that goes into the voice work. I didn't really until i started doing it myself, and I count your style as one of my inspirations, so thank you. I do comics adaptations of comics that haven't beem adapted but I've always loved, mostly unknown stuff from the 90s and before. Id be honored if you checked one out but I realize that's unlikely, with the size of your audience. This is just a thank you and an appreciation of your fine work.

This is now my favorite SCP. Wow, I thoroughly enjoyed that video. It was so campy and so fun. This is my first youtube comment just to say how much fun I had listening to this. It really took me back to the old Hercule Poirot and Sherlock Holmes books I read as a kid. I love a good whodunnit. I only wish it had a parlor accusation scene.
