If you run out of foundation, take a pair of tweezers and flip the sponge over. There's plenty of product underneath the sponge. And you can keep doing this till you run out of product before you replace it. hope this helps ^^

The gel formula hugs the lips and doesn't feel sticky or goopy at all because it's gel! Their liquid lips are super comfortable, just not totally matte or bulletproof which is okay. Heaven's Glow blush is amazing, I have so many blushes Im not even using because I cant stop using it. I'm in love with EM Cosmetic's color story, magic hour color (lip cushion, lip gloss, liquid lip, eyeshadow palette) is the best color I've ever worn on my asian face -- it suits me SO nicely! For the included cushion applicator, I would recommend patting pretty rapidly and repeatedly across the face! You don't have to apply too much pressure, but the more times you pat it in, the more coverage you should get. The applicator holds quite a bit of product actually, so you want to make sure you're getting as much as you can on your skin if that makes sense!

The cushion foundations are THE BEST!!! The most convenient way to apply a foundation is to have it in a form of cushion. Too bad that there are not so many companies that make them. Any cushion foundation I’m buying, the result is a flawless radiant skin and no “stainy” fingers. I always use those velvet microfiber sponges, because they do not suck in much product and blend it into the skin perfectly. They are made for each other 😊 Thanks for the tip, Emily! I absolutely love EM Cosmetics. Their Serum Blushes are so beautiful and the Heaven's Glow Faded Clementine is on my wish list. I have used their eyeliner and liked it but not a must have for me. All of their products are great, a lot are amazing. I too also like the fact that they roll out an item or two at a time and not every week like some other brands. I think that may be why their products are such high quality. A little at a time makes it easier to focus on the quality. I am looking forward to the Daydream Cushion. I used to love cushion foundations, I would use a Real Techniques sponge, the flat side, it gave such a beautiful, diffused look. A little went a long way. This cushion tinted serum looked great on you. It perfected the skin but allowed the true beauty to show through. Sometimes a full coverage foundation may be needed but most of the time I like a light to medium coverage. The Daydream Cushion Tinted Serum is something I will definitely be trying soon, along with the Heaven's Glow in Faded Clementine. I think the gift sets are nice and can think of a few people I know who would enjoy being introduced to this brand.

I bought their lip cloud, gloss, serum blush and eye liner previously and it is GOOD! only gripe i have is with the expensive shipping overseas (i live in asia) and that I have the same issues as you did for the eye liner, it did not stay very well on me. That said, I'll try out ur tip of shaking it up, hopefully it improves things. But the lip cloud in magic hour is SO beautiful and flattering on everybody. I think it's one of their best selling colours, which is why they included that in the kit. I also got their colour gloss and clear gloss but I seem to be allergic to something in the colour gloss and I passed it on to my friend who loves it. The clear gloss is so good too and i love the smell cos it smells literally like butterscotch caramel. The serum blush is a STAPLE for me whenever I do makeup now. looks fabulous, easy to apply, sometimes I even put it on bare skin and it just does something to improve the look of my complexion. I'm off to browse their holiday kits now lol hopefully shipping is more affordable now!

As I get older and my skin has more texture issues, I find that the thinner complexion products are on my skin, the better I look - not just five minutes after I put on my makeup, but hours later especially. I use the same brush with the Catrice HD liquid foundation with similar results...very smoothing and works well with the thinner formula. This cushion foundation looks very pretty and needs to be on my “to buy” list. Have a great day!

I picked it up and it is the cutest little set. I really want to try Em Cosmetics morning dew gloss but $20 is a little steep for a clear gloss. Tfs.
I have the eyeshadow palette, clear brow gel, a few of the serum blushes, and the Magic Hour Cushion lipstick. I love them all. One of the serum blushes has dropper issues, but I’m able to work around it!

Eek! I find $48 for a cushion foundation is excessive but you did say it comes with a refill so that makes it $24/each which isn’t bad. I do want to try the Em cosmetics blush that looks like nail polish lol. The “amethyst” color I think it’s called would be my choice. I’ll bet since Michele Pham is developing her line more, I’ll bet she will come out with a bronzer, under eye concealer (unless you mentioned it) and other products for a full face eventually. I like that the liquid blush doesn’t mess with hour foundation or powder. Great video, as always!

Also for that neck pain, do some stretches, like rotating your head left and right, up and down. Be very methodical and try to stretch as far as possible, but be careful. I used to do this a lot with martial arts and meditation. It can be very relaxing.

I gave my EM Cosmetics Venetian Rose lip cushion to my daughter who has more neutral coloring than I do. I wish it looked on me like it does on you, Emily... but on me it looks muddy and unflattering. I don't do well with brown-based colors or orangey ones, as a rule. I'm very cool-toned.
I am just discovering Em Cosmetics, and so far I love it!! Such amazing quality. The Magic Hour palette is everything I wanted Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk to be. It is Pillow Talk, but so much better! It's not as glittery and the eyes just look so much more sleek.
So I read your random thought... something I do when I have a neck ache or pain in my neck I’ll put vapor rub on the sore areas... it helps me quite a bit.
I tried the cushion foundation from Saturday skin and really liked it but it's $40. The thinness of the foundation keeps it from settling in my fine lines and wrinkles

These types of cushion foundations are very popular with Korea and Japan cosmetics. They are usually best applied by tapping gently onto skin
The same with the eyeshadow palette. It's not meant to be used in western style makeup, that's why there is not a super deep shade.

Kohl's has a mini Real Technique holiday brush set I instantly thought of you. It comes with mini bronzer, powder, and foundation brushes and a sponge on sale for $8 right now. I picked it up and it is the cutest little set. I really want to try Em Cosmetics morning dew gloss but $20 is a little steep for a clear gloss. Tfs.
I have the eyeshadow palette, clear brow gel, a few of the serum blushes, and the Magic Hour Cushion lipstick. I love them all. One of the serum blushes has dropper issues, but I’m able to work around it!

I LOVE when you (or any TH-camr) go into detail while doing an eye look because often times a look seems easy then as you're doing it, we start to notice the different shades and techniques. It makes it so much easier to try to recreate the look 👏🏼 Please don't ever feel like you're over explaining.
Felt like watching Emily tutorials today and I am a huge EM cosmetics fan so this was perfect....but I had to comment regardless of this being 6 months ago because I know you are an OG beauty "guru" but the way you talked the entire time putting on liquid liner and even a wing.....THAT WAS IMPRESSIVE!! 👏🙌

Eek! I find $48 for a cushion foundation is excessive but you did say it comes with a refill so that makes it $24/each which isn’t bad. I do want to try the Em cosmetics blush that looks like nail polish lol. The “amethyst” color I think it’s called would be my choice.
I’ll bet since Michele Pham is developing her line more, I’ll bet she will come out with a bronzer, under eye concealer (unless you mentioned it) and other products for a full face eventually. I like that the liquid blush doesn’t mess with hour foundation or powder. Great video, as always!
Its is super expensive. Most foundation come in a 1 fl oz bottle. The cushion is only at 0.42 fl oz per sponge.

When she came out with these compacts I was so excited but I knew I had to wait for your review before I got it. Thank you for a thorough review. 🤗
Also for that neck pain, do some stretches, like rotating your head left and right, up and down. Be very methodical and try to stretch as far as possible, but be careful.
I used to do this a lot with martial arts and meditation. It can be very relaxing.

I bought the one with the blush serum and eye palette and I bought the foundation and the cozy essentials and a free liquid lip so it's good to get a little nice gift. Honestly I always do for others I'm 47 and honestly I just started to do for myself last year so I don't feel bad at all. Stay safe and remember yall no matter what please please wear a mask. You never know who's been where or who you've been near shopping anything it's truly scary and like they all said alot of ppl was starting to live as its over and its truly not over nor anywhere near over. I gave my EM Cosmetics Venetian Rose lip cushion to my daughter who has more neutral coloring than I do. I wish it looked on me like it does on you, Emily... but on me it looks muddy and unflattering. I don't do well with brown-based colors or orangey ones, as a rule. I'm very cool-toned.
I am just discovering Em Cosmetics, and so far I love it!! Such amazing quality. The Magic Hour palette is everything I wanted Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk to be. It is Pillow Talk, but so much better! It's not as glittery and the eyes just look so much more sleek.
So I read your random thought... something I do when I have a neck ache or pain in my neck I’ll put vapor rub on the sore areas... it helps me quite a bit.
Your videos are always super helpful, and you definitely helped me decide which EM products to try!
I tried the cushion foundation from Saturday skin and really liked it but it's $40. The thinness of the foundation keeps it from settling in my fine lines and wrinkles

I love the eye look you created. I love that eyeshadow palette along with the hippie stick and powder blush! Jessica Bruan has said good things about that eyeshadow palette aswell. I definitely need to give this brand a try!
