I can't help, but be impressed by their power. I mean, this is The Darkness, destructive reflection of The God and five witches did get her on her kneels. Temporarily, but still, quite impressive. Well, these five are are probably hundred, if not thousand years old and probably used different rare ingredients to strength their spell, but still impressive. But not unrealistic (as fantasy show can be realistic), because humans in Superman are built to house great power, even if not everyone can do it. And magic is thing, that kept her locked up whole time.
I absolutely love this this whole scene with different forces and different factions coming together to fight a common threat to their very existence. Also something about how the demons moved in the moonlight after the angel smiting was just amazing and then Crowley joining was amazing my bais are demons and Crowley by the way. God I love this show😁😁😁😁😁😁

The number of angels went down dramatically by season 11, which is why I think their attacks didn't packed as much punch as it used to be..demons on the other hand, well there were still a lot of them I guess lol.
when lucifer attacked amara -that could symbolize 'family" because lucifer is said to be gods first child.his son. and then when god attacked that could be symbolized as "creation".
I wish that was explained, cause no demon has been red before or after Crowley. 🤔 Other crossroads demons have red eyes but arent they just black like everyone else, as smoke.

There should have been WAY better music for each of the factions when they came in. Idk about the Witch part, but when the a Angel smiting was beginning there should have been some heavenly war music playing, and then some intimidating drums when the demons we're coming in. Great scene anyway.
ANYTHING would've been better than, "The Winchesters". As much as I love this show, I knew that "The Winchesters" was going to be a bad idea from the 1st day it was announced. It just seemed to be completely unnecessary to have that prequel, since their storyline has already been covered extensively throughout the 15 seasons of "Supernatural".
You know what would have made this cooler, forget 4 witches what if they hit her with 40,000 witches, like ALL of them and the Darkness still wipes them out effortlessly over the whole planet.

The only thing i hated about the entire amara scene is how they hyped up lucifer helping and we didnt even get to actually see him fight. I was the most excited to see him do something and we got nothing lol
So the combined power of God and the archangels was barely enough just to lock the Darkness away, but a few witches, a handful of demons, a single super smite, and a single blow from a spear was able to deal some pretty serious damage? This scene is pretty cool and all, but it's also a testament to the inconsistency this show suffered from and continues to suffer from in its later years.
She still wins though, so this feels fairly consistent. I don't find it hard to believe that the combined power of all of Heaven along with the combined power of Hell actually did her some serious damage.

Is it sad that I replay this just to see Crowley? He has to be my favorite character, he was the best. Even in this scene he dropped his selfish act to help. well God is supposed to be above everything light, dark, death, and every creation. The show's portrayal of God and his power is very weak compared to the biblical God, which I personally hate too. But I guess that's what the show was going for.

One thing the supernatural series has basically bashed in my head is that witches power scale can be almost anywhere. Pointless side fanon theory here but it seems to me there is a distinct difference between magic and the mystic powers everyone has. Everything else seems to run on some sort of juice, doesn't matter if it's demonic or angelic, or pagan and the limit of how powerful you are is how much juice you have. Magic seems to be an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT FORCE, it's like learning the developer commands for reality. Your character is NOT as powerful as Lucifer with all his wrath but you have the dev command to kill target player so it doesn't really matter.
For what was established about Amara’s power, this fight makes no sense. She is supposedly at full power - power equal to the creator of the universe. It was shown just a few episodes back that an elder archangel combined with a Hand of God - which has power at least on par with Apocalypse Michael, given how Crowley smacked Lucifer down - does nothing. But you’re telling me 5 witches can burn a full-powered Amara? And the Heaven smiting - with no archangels, and very few angels of note - takes enough out of Amara that she can’t kill a single demon? And then Lucifer one-shots her. Has her on the ground...and then she somehow overpowers a fully-functional God? The only way this fight begins to make sense is if God amped everyone exponentially, and he was never in danger from dying to Amara. Since neverminding Michael’s sanity and Gabriel’s existence, God had access to a legion of Michael’s and Lucifer’s. Heck, S13 Apocalypse world had the strongest archangel of the show.
Still wish they had the colt in this scene to be humanities hat in the ring against the darkness. It wouldn't have made a difference but still would be a big punch when combined with everything amara just went through
This scene always made me think of Pokémon how you have to lower a Pokémon's health gradually so that you can capture them. The witches, angels, and demons couldn't kill Amara but they could decrease her HP so that Chuck could capture her in a Poke Ball. Or rather capture in the Mark of Cain.
It could've worked better if all the angels in heaven, all the demons in hell, the most powerful witch coven to ever exist, Lucifer and God summoned all their strengths and fired at Amara at once instead of attacking her separately
I feel like if Rowena would have had more witches helping her then the attack would have at least done a little more damage and maybe shocked Amara too much to have used it against her

The most powerful demons all had a unique look. For instance, Azazel had a skull shaped head in his non-corporeal form.
I always interpreted that as meaning that his soul wasn’t as corrupted as most demons.

Those were some of the most powerful witches around, way stronger then the run of the mill witch. As for as demons. One isn't much of a threat but when there is dozens fighting together. It like those killer ants they are small but when the work together they can take down big animals.

One thing the supernatural series has basically bashed in my head is that witches power scale can be almost anywhere. Pointless side fanon theory here but it seems to me there is a distinct difference between magic and the mystic powers everyone has. Everything else seems to run on some sort of juice, doesn't matter if it's demonic or angelic, or pagan and the limit of how powerful you are is how much juice you have. Magic seems to be an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT FORCE, it's like learning the developer commands for reality. Your character is NOT as powerful as Lucifer with all his wrath but you have the dev command to kill target player so it doesn't really matter.

I feel underwhelmed by this battle but I like how the ending went.
If you remember the first time heaven attacked her she actually got weakened but the Rowena decide to heal her and fucked it up

For what was established about Amara’s power, this fight makes no sense. She is supposedly at full power - power equal to the creator of the universe. It was shown just a few episodes back that an elder archangel combined with a Hand of God - which has power at least on par with Apocalypse Michael, given how Crowley smacked Lucifer down - does nothing.
But you’re telling me 5 witches can burn a full-powered Amara? And the Heaven smiting - with no archangels, and very few angels of note - takes enough out of Amara that she can’t kill a single demon?
And then Lucifer one-shots her. Has her on the ground...and then she somehow overpowers a fully-functional God?
The only way this fight begins to make sense is if God amped everyone exponentially, and he was never in danger from dying to Amara. Since neverminding Michael’s sanity and Gabriel’s existence, God had access to a legion of Michael’s and Lucifer’s. Heck, S13 Apocalypse world had the strongest archangel of the show.
Still wish they had the colt in this scene to be humanities hat in the ring against the darkness. It wouldn't have made a difference but still would be a big punch when combined with everything amara just went through
This scene always made me think of Pokémon how you have to lower a Pokémon's health gradually so that you can capture them. The witches, angels, and demons couldn't kill Amara but they could decrease her HP so that Chuck could capture her in a Poke Ball. Or rather capture in the Mark of Cain.
I would of loved to see the four archangels going up against her again!

It could've worked better if all the angels in heaven, all the demons in hell, the most powerful witch coven to ever exist, Lucifer and God summoned all their strengths and fired at Amara at once instead of attacking her separately

I feel like if Rowena would have had more witches helping her then the attack would have at least done a little more damage and maybe shocked Amara too much to have used it against her

mortals, demons and angels team up to fight a literal god and we get two minutes of cgi that results in some blown bulbs and a dented car. later series of supernatural had an issue with setting up obscenely powerful foes but without the budget to realize them properly
