FYI, on the screen where you send your party off to do quests there is a donate button that you can use to get your blessing, so you don't have to keep popping into the temple. Also, your instincts are correct, the Basilisk does scale up with the level of the Adventure that holds it including new abilities. I didn't bring the Basilisk beyond lvl 11. If you do, I would be curious to see how much the Basilisk does scale throughout the adventure. (You can click on the Basilisk during combat to see its stats and abilities)

Ah nice I'll be sure to do that going forward! And yeah I sort of hope it "grows" as it were. Not just in abilities but size too, guess we'll see!
