I want to visit a race next summer , this is too good to miss!! Glad to see the driver Is OK and car is very repairable. What makes me really love this race circuit of ppl is their open validation of our maker and in a real life practical way. Who wouldnt want to be around this??

The first few years were great. Now its hard to even hear the sound of the cars running through the gears for these people never shutting up. I understand the own or are part owners of the Association but just shut up a little.
Not showing times and speeds equals unprofessional? Huh??! Go watch bracket racing if the times and speeds are what you really want to see. This is real drag racing though! Heads up, first one to the finish line wins. There's many reasons why SEGA has been wildly successful. Not showing the times and speeds is actually intentional and there's a good reason behind it.
Several reasons for that: 1)The purpose is to replicate the late-60's experience and in that era many tracks didn't even have clocks at all. The local tracks around me didn't have scoreboards until maybe the early-to-mid 90's. Announcers may have said ET's on the PA system (this was bracking racing by this point in time anyway) but at the finish light a light was all there was. 2) If you are running a heads up first to the finish race the win light is all that matters. 3) The lack of times keeps the excitement and uncertainty for the fans. If you see that a car is quite dominate in it's ET's during qualifying, then fans may lose interest before the first round even runs since it will appear to be a foregone conclusion on who will wind up willing the race. I've heard Quain Stott even say as much in previous interviews. Most, if not all, of the No Prep style races don't post times either.
